Is it compatible with iPhones and other smart phones?

That's where a targus stylus comes in handy. Rubber tips are required for smartphones and tablets.

Is the dsi xl stylus hole compatible with the pen?

They're about the size of a writing pen, which is the most convenient for me.

What a relief that it fits my adult hand

These are far more convenient to use than the ones included with the 3DS. They're big enough not to dig into my palm. They're about as big as a ballpoint pen.

For the Nintendo 3DS, this is the best stylus available

For the Nintendo 3DS, this is the best stylus available. I've found the best price and quality online, and these are half the price of others that would break too easily. There are no small parts to break on this stylus because it is made entirely of one piece. Fits comfortably in the hand of an adult, and the color reminds me of a Jolly Rancher.
