I did some research and it appears to work with the majority of the newer Guitar Hero games, but not the older ones like Guitar Hero 2, 3, or possibly Aerosmith.

By pressing the green Xbox button, you can turn on the guitar. Then look for the sync button on the guitar's bottom. When both the Xbox 360 console and the guitar are turned on, press the sync button on both the Xbox 360 console and the guitar at the same time, and they should sync up like a regular controller.

The one I received was in significantly worse shape than the one I purchased. The guitar was simply stuffed into a flat box and shipped without any protection. When I got it, it was broken open to the point where the guitar couldn't hold the strap peg I found in the box in place. The guitar is functional, but it is in much worse condition than the one purchased, with numerous scratches and cracks.
It worked after I replaced the batteries that came with it. It's all set to go! Much better than the other RB controller I purchased from a local retro gaming shop! All of the buttons, as well as the whammy bar and strummer, function flawlessly! 5/5.

The condition is described as "very good. " Not true. Broken whammy bar, scrapes, and cracks were among the many signs of wear and tear on this item. The product is also defective, as the batteries inside were corroded. The product would not turn on after new batteries were installed.
I didn't get a guitar with a wireless system! It had been tampered with! If you're not satisfied, be cautious and specific when placing your order. I'm not sure how you managed to mess up that. br>br>I'm sure the guitar is fine, because we wore out our other wireless guitar.
This guitar does not perform as well as the game's original guitar. It's supposed to resemble the original, but it's not the same. It didn't work out. I'm hoping the replacement guitar is as good as the original - We'll have to wait and see. You'd be better off investing a few extra dollars. To avoid frustration, I recommend purchasing a higher-quality controller/guitar.
If it had said, I would not have purchased it. "Acceptable," he said, but there was a broken guitar strap peg on the bottom, and he was filthy. If it had said it was broken, I would not have bought it.
I bought this guitar for my sister's children for Christmas a year or two ago, because she needed extra parts so that all of her many children could play. The quality of this guitar is superior to the one included with the game. They haven't been able to break it because it has worked so well.
