A reset button that had been jammed under the casing of an N64 unit needed this so I could open up the system and unstick it. We got the desired result this way. Because this bit was designed to be used as a hand tool, I'm not sure how the owners stripped it. Unlike electric screwdrivers and drills, you do not put it in them. In the case of electronics that are sensitive, I'm not sure why you would want to open up sensitive components. It worked great when I popped it into my hand screwdriver. My only complaint is that it doesn't have any of the ball-playing features I've come to expect from games like this It is connected to bearings at the top of the bit, so if you pull up on any part of the screwdriver, it slides in and out. It doesn't matter though, you can do something about it. This thing should not be used with magnetic screwdrivers, I hope.
There is an error in the description In order to reach both deepest holes of Nintendo Virtual Boy, this cable would be too short. As long as it is otherwise of OK quality, I will probably keep it since it may be useful for other In an attempt to figure out if I can make it work on the Virtual Boy, I plan to alter this one with a dremel. I've used a Dremel to cut away part of the fat hex head where it meets the shaft in order to make sure it will fit into the Virtual Boy's two deepest holes. I got the job done. By opening it up, removing the one defective LED assembly, reflowing the ribbon cable with heat from a hair dryer, applying a lot of pressure, and applying a lot of pressure, I was able to remedy the issue.
It was said to work by some reviews but it wasn't said to work by others. In retrospect, I wish I had listened to the second group and selected something else, since the screw is indeed too large to fit in the well around it. If I were to use this, I would have to make a larger hole in my cartridge. My copy of it is worthless for N64 games, but I can't speak to the effectiveness of it for other systems. Edit
There's a need for me to improve my comprehension skills. Despite the title, it's mentioned in the description that it's only for master system games and the console itself on other platforms. The rating has been adjusted to 3 stars as while it could get the job done, I'm not particularly impressed with the construction.
It worked just fine when I opened and closed it. When I got the screws out, the bit slipped a couple of times here and there a few times when trying to remove them. I'm not sure if it'd been opened before, so some of the screws were hard. From that, you can already tell the bit has been stripped a little. After the screws were removed, I put them back in without any problem. The chances are I may never need to use it again, so I guess I got what I paid for at least. I doubt it would have done as well if I had had more difficulty with stuck screws than I did.
Purchasing this product was for the purpose of opening and cleaning out my N64 console. In good condition, the product arrived when it was supposed to. (Lightly) tightening the screws of the N64 was one of the test uses of this tool. (NOTE Taking your time is important. Previously, I had opened it with makeshift tools and was not able to get the screws tightened back in). As for the tool, it worked perfectly in the test. I look forward to using it Despite its thin teeth, the tool still has edges that are sharp. I think it will strip if you apply too much pressure. You should also know that this is a review for the gray In addition to the white version, there is a black version that is said to be It is not possible to choose which one you want, so it is a roll of the dice. In short, it is a decent product, but be aware that putting too much pressure on it may result in it being damaged. I'd recommend buying a better quality one if you can find it, but if this is the best you can find, get it, you won't regret it.
It was useful to remove five screws from my TurboDuo so that I could After opening the unit, I was able to use it. Once I had assembled it again, I felt the screw before I even got to the fourth one. Getting ripped off! As soon as I tightened the screw 1/4 of the way, it completely lost it's "teeth" and now I'm incapable of securing the cover to After the first days of working on the computer, I was astonished to find that the power switch had been switched off! In order to open it again, I need to delete the bit, but I cannot since it is useless. A reviewer in the supplemental said this in his review. It was a good choice. Therefore, I recommend that you do not buy this bit from me or from the people who had negative responses! In an attempt to return the goods, I contacted the seller. This is what I intend to do.
