Update: The headset cord was completely ripped out. It wasn't even a particularly difficult tug of war. The cord became tangled in the armrest of my chair, and I leaned in the opposite direction without realizing it. The issue appeared to be that the plastic that was supposed to keep the cord in place had broken. Since then, I've upgraded to a better headset. It served its purpose when money was tight and I needed something quick, but anyone looking for something more long-term might be better off investing a few extra dollars in something of higher quality. br>br>The microphone works well and the headset sounds good. The headset is extremely tight, and after about an hour of use, it becomes uncomfortable. After about two months, the lights on the side of it stopped working. This hasn't interfered with the headset's functionality, but it does make me wonder about the build quality. Because the lights aren't customizable in any way, it's not a big deal. The "software" described on the product page is essentially useless. It's a dated-looking interface that does nothing more than the Windows sound panel. If you're in a pinch for cash, it's worth it, but if you have the means, I'd recommend spending a few extra dollars on something a little more advanced.
What a difference these make compared to my iPhone ear buds! Because I can hear the tires better, the higher-quality sound improved my iRacing experience. It's as simple as plugging them in and turning them on. There are no software issues to deal with. It's cozy, but it's a little hot. It'll be interesting to see if they start to feel uneasy this summer.

This is an excellent headset. It fits a little tight and is a little uncomfortable, but it's a great headset in general.
I have to say, I'm a big fan of these headphones. Comfortable, stylish, and excellent microphone and sound quality. HOWEVER. I'm unable to write a positive review because the microphone completely failed after three months, two days after the 90-day warranty period had expired.

When I first saw them in the box, I wanted to fall in love with them. Unfortunately, these headphones are too heavy to wear for extended periods of time. I'm not sure I'd be able to wear these for longer than an hour. If you're a gamer who's used to wearing heavy headgear, these are the ones to get. I like the bright lighted design on the outside, but I had to return these due to the weight; I couldn't wear them during my 8-hour shift talking to patients because they were simply too heavy.
