The pads are made of synthetic poly felt, and when used with our 1UPcard fluid, they draw dirt and corrosion into the pad, effectively cleaning and polishing the contacts even when it starts to look rough and worn.
This item is too big for them, but 1UPcard Mini Cleaning Cards are ideal for DS and GBA games.
Yes, Magnavox Odyssey game cartridges are compatible.
It's possible that these cards are too large for that. On Game Gear cartridges, I highly recommend using the 1UPCard Mini!

For $7, I received a 32-ounce IPA, a bottle of brasso, and a box of qtips. I've included some images. Nothing happened when I put one up. The brasso and IPA used to clean the NES contact pins brought them back to life. However, it's a clever ruse. Only good for surface dust, and why buy this when rubbing alcohol, which is what this uses, can be purchased for less at any store?.
I use Q- cards to clean my games, and they do a fantastic job. Tips in addition to these It's a good idea to use both, but these clean up the Q-factor in a different way. This is not the case with tips. The cleaning of Nintendo 64 super Nintendo games (as well as original Nintendo games) very thorough. I stuck the corner of the game boy game card between the card and the card. This worked OK. I left the corner blank in a single game because I didn't find all possible configurations.
These are incredible! br>br>I buy a lot of old video games in bulk and enjoy cleaning them up and bringing them back to life. br>br>These are a game changer when it comes to cleaning retro videos because the process is fast, easy, and most importantly effective. br>br>Will buy from them again in the near future, but if they reduced their price a little, I would buy a lot more and more frequently.
I'm not sure what these pads are made of, but they scrub effectively while remaining gentle; however, I do have two minor complaints. To begin with, the cards are simply too thin and flimsy. They do the job, but I wish they were a bit thicker. The second solution" consists of 99% isopropyl alcohol. That stuff is available in large bottles almost everywhere. So just buy the cards and a separate bottle of 99% isopropyl is recommended. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic product.
The night was dark and stormy. That was the case. I'd recently purchased a Nintendo and was looking forward to playing some Bubble Bobble on it. My girlfriend and I were unable to enjoy our time together due to the gray screen of doom. br>br>Frantically, I placed an order and waited. br>br>When it arrived, I ripped open the package and poured some of the alcohol onto one of the cleaning pads, then ran it along those pesky game contacts. I washed the Nintendo games over and over again. It was time to give Bubble Bobble a try. br>br>I inserted the game and pressed the power button after a brief prayer to the Nintendo masters and a quick hymn of Zelda's theme song. Boom! It had an effect. br>br>It's a nice kit, to be honest. It's not impossible to do with a Q-card. It's a combination of tip and booze, but it's very effective.
After cleaning all 20 of these cards with just ONE of these cards and a smidgeon of solution, as well as dismantling the NES and giving the 72 pin connector some TLC - There are no glitches or corruptions in any of the games, and they all start up on the first try. This product is well worth the money, and if you frequent garage sales or eBay for cheap games, it's almost a must-have. br>br>On a side note, I grew up with the NES, and it's almost surreal to pop a game in and play it without having to take it out and reseat it a million times. It's sort of a part of the experience of using one of these old systems, but. . . It's an aspect of the experience that I could do without.
The cleaning patches are effective and fit the cartridges perfectly. The solution is all isopropyl alcohol, which is a disappointment. Simply purchase the cleaning pads instead of the overpriced solution to save money.
It's necessary to clean old items from time to time. This set does an excellent job of cleaning NES games in a short amount of time; however, I believe it is a little pricey in general, but it appears to last and is of good quality. Apart from the general cost being on the high side, I have no complaints.
