Thank you for taking the time to look into it. Yes, this knife (as well as the rest of the W. Case knives are made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
It's ideal for whittling, in my opinion. "Knives best suited for whittling have multiple blades to be able to make a variety of cuts and carve outs without having to switch tools," according to Case's own whittling website. This knife comes with the main blades you'll use the most for whittling almost anything, and I also have a Seahorse Whittler. The curved handle is especially comfortable for me. Some people will tell you that all you need is a small (and I mean small) Swiss army knife with only two blades. If you're only whittling smaller sticks, etc., I found that to be true. Case has an entire section on their website dedicated to their whittling techniques. I hope this information is useful.
The following are the different blade lengths: 72 in, 2. 19 in, 2. 12 in
We appreciate your contacting us. Sheepfoot Coping blades are 2 3/16" long, Spey blades are 2 1/8" long, and Clip blades are 2 3/4" long (tip to bolster).

Blade rub is common on these knives, but that's a problem with the sowbelly pattern in general - Any pocket knife with more than two blades, for that matter. This knife, on the other hand, is in excellent condition, with no blade rub. I've only handled one Bonestag Sowbelly, so I'm not sure if I got lucky or if Case has improved the quality of their production with this batch. In any case, I'm overjoyed. br>br>The Tony Bose sowbelly knife pattern (TB6339) is one of my favorites. It is, without a doubt, my most favorite pocket knife design. Because I adore the bonestag scales and shield on this model, this Case appeared to be pretty close to my ideal folder. The factory rarely gives them a good edge, and this one was no exception. GEC, a high-end knife maker, doesn't even put a good factory edge on theirs - As a result, don't hold it against Case. Because hand sharpening each knife would significantly increase the retail price, most knife makers give it a quick edge and let the customer decide whether or not to sharpen it. Collectors, who make up the majority of the market, are unconcerned about the edge. br>br>In recent years, Case's prices have risen significantly. However, they continue to produce a high-quality product at a reasonable price; I own several Case knives, and if you want to collect high-quality American-made pocket knives as a hobby, Case is the best choice.
Whether you're whittling with this knife - which is why I bought it in the first place - or not, it's a great tool to have. (to pass on to my grandchildren) Alternatively, if you're looking for a knife with a truly versatile blade grouping, this is the one. These three blades have so many applications that they've quickly become my go-to pocket knife; each blade is razor-sharp and polished, and the handle is, of course, stunning. The quality of the fit and finish are superb. I'm glad it's also made in the United States.
The quality is unrivaled. I ordered this knife as a Father's Day present for myself, and it is of excellent quality. My wife instructed me to choose something that I desired. It was a simple decision. One of the best knives on the market for everyday carry.
ha! He's always looking for an excuse to take it out of his pocket and cut something! Always ready to go!.
The knife is absolutely stunning, and the craftsmanship is flawless. Flawless. Many people compliment me on my appearance. Sharpens and maintains the edge well. The quality of the fit and finish is fantastic.
Great knife, just the right size.
It's razor-sharp right out of the box, and it hones up quickly with a few strokes on a steel.
