We had no issues leaving it outside, just like our swing set, and it did not suffer any permanent damage. It leaves a ring in the grass where the roller rotates. When we get snow in the winter, we put it in the garage.
It is recommended that 6" to 11" of mulch be used to prevent as much injury as possible in the event of a fall from the unit. The owner's manual includes guidelines for how much cushion material to use.
I ordered ours on August 28th with free Prime shipping and received them on September 3rd, which included the three-day Labor Day weekend.
Only when the equipment is reasonably balanced does it work. However, because the weight limit is 300 pounds, an adult weighing 130 pounds or more can be on one end and provide the required lift. I tried it with a three-year-old, and while the ride wasn't perfect, it got the job done.

This was given to me as a present for my kids. The seats and back pads had completely rotted after only one year of use, rendering it unsafe to use. I contacted the manufacturer, who charged me $56 to replace the item, which is nearly half the price of the original. The metal frame and construction are well-made and sturdy, but the seats' lifespan is far exceeded. The seats are a MAJOR issue, and the company takes no responsibility for accommodating their customers for a replacement, even though the unit is stored indoors during inclement weather.
From our two-year-old to our sixteen-year-old, the kids are enthralled by this device! It was not too difficult to put together, and it is very durable. My husband and I have taken it for a spin a few times, and it goes pretty fast if balanced correctly! There is an awkward adjustment period to learn how to use it, but once you figure it out, it's a lot of fun!.
The only issue with this toy is that it is constantly fought over by my children. I have seven children, ranging in age from two to eight years old. Everyone seems to be having a good time. It's very sturdy and well constructed, with a combined weight capacity of 300 pounds, according to the box. The seats are large enough for older children to sit in them with a younger child in front of them. My eleven-year-old son, who is mechanically inclined, year- We're very happy with this purchase because old put it together himself in a couple of hours. My seven-year-old son is featured in the video. year- a nine-year-old son and a nine-year-old daughter daughter, who is twelve years old They're both quite large for their respective ages.
With this toy, his five and seven-year-old siblings are having a ball. It's sturdy enough for my husband and me to take turns, and the seats are roomy enough for a child to sit comfortably in front of us for a four-person ride. I'm really pleased with the quality, and I'm glad we went with the slightly more expensive option. teeter totter with a high price tag This tank of a toy, I believe, will keep our kids entertained for many years!.
This was purchased for my 5-year-old daughter. year- 's birthday so he could spend time with his 6-year-old brother year- My 14-year-old sister is on it, but year- It's been taken over by old and her pals! This is a toy that is both entertaining and durable. We've had it for seven months and it's held up admirably in all weather conditions. Even my adolescent and I can have fun with it. It's entertaining to try to keep it spinning while balancing it. At our house, we use it more for balancing and spinning than as a teeter totter. In our backyard, it generates a lot of laughter!.
Santa only had to bring this one present. My three children, ages five, three, and two, have been playing with it nonstop. On the one hand, I can ride with them. Having a great time. The handle bars on one side had too much weld in the way of holes aligning for bolts, so assembly took a while. My father, who works in tool and die, was fortunate in that he had the necessary tools to grind it down to fit. That was the only criticism I had. Otherwise, the instructions were simple to follow, and I am a woman who put it together on my own; it just took a lot longer than if I had had assistance. Other reviews stated that it could be dangerous for small children because it spins, but that is also true of a swing set with back-and-forth swings. All that is required is oversight. The seats are made of a low-quality material that will most likely break down over time, so they will most likely be moved under a covered porch to avoid the elements. Others have stated that the seat rubs off a red stain on clothes, which is true if they are wet. Overall, this is an excellent toy that will provide hours of entertainment for children for many years.
It is a big hit with the grandchildren. The only issue was that one of the children was about 20 pounds heavier than the other. They eventually figured out that the heavier child should sit further forward and the lighter child should sit further back. I dislike the small hard wheels, so we plan to modify it and replace the wheels with 8" pneumatic tires (company suggestion!). When teetering on the edge of a cliff, rubber tires would be extremely beneficial. stumbling Also, it's made of high-quality steel and parts, so it'll last a long time! There are two 200-pounders in this picture. Adults can ride it without difficulty (except for the part where they get dizzy!).
This was purchased for a soft carpet rec room in the basement.
My 3- It's a big hit with my four-year-old grandkids. It is strongly recommended that you keep an eye on your children! Allowing toddlers to get in the way while this is going on is not a good idea. br>The instructions were fairly clear, and the parts were well labeled, but before I started, I devised my own method of identifying the parts. It would have been more intimidating if I hadn't already gotten used to putting toys together. It can be put together by one person, but it would be a little easier with two. Given that the seats are cloth, they will need to be covered every day if used outside. This is a fun ride for kids of similar sizes when they are supervised, and it requires good balance.
