This one has a shorter length and can hold up to 300 pounds, whereas the deluxe can hold up to 400 pounds. My two children are two years old. This was a birthday present for four people, and it's plenty big. We've even had 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16, and It's also used by ten-year-olds. So, I'd recommend looking at the dimensions and weight to help you decide which is best for you!
The teeter totter is suitable for children aged three to six years old. 13 years old and capable of carrying a maximum weight of 300 pounds.
Rubber bumpers are mounted beneath the seat pads on the teeter totter. These bumpers are supposed to take the brunt of the blow.

If you don't have one, an adjustable wrench will suffice; it took me about 20 minutes to assemble and can be completed by one person. It appears to be extremely durable. It's also a hit with the kids! It does not occupy a lot of room. I would strongly suggest it.
This 78-year-old grandmother found putting it together to be extremely simple. The seats are incredibly poorly constructed and will not last the summer. To spray them, I bought two cans of flex seal. When I contacted customer service to express my dissatisfaction, I was told that I could make a shower cap to cover them, indicating that they are well aware of the problem. It's too bad. The frame is lovely, but the seat isn't so much.
The seats have faded and appear cracked due to the sun, but there are no rips or holes yet. I'll have them reupholstered when the time comes, but they're outside all year and I've never had to oil them or do anything with them. My children are 6 and 7 years old. Even adults can play on it! 9 still use it on a regular basis, and I noticed the neighbors recently purchased one for their children after seeing ours! Never tips over, and the metal color hasn't faded in the least!br>br>UPDATE: I noticed the seat was tilted and went outside to remove it. I was unable to reupholster it because the wood beneath the padding had rotted. The opposite is true for the other seat. HOWEVER. I contacted Impex and inquired about having the seats replaced. I needed to give them the TT210 model number, and the seats are only $10 each! It costs $9 to ship and handle your order. 87 for where I live, which isn't bad for only having them for three years! This item has exceeded my expectations, and I strongly recommend it! br>br> My seats lasted about a year before the weather faded them, then another two years before they broke and the wood rotted away. The metal remains as gleaming and bright as the day I purchased it! And it's still working perfectly! br>br>UPDATE 2016: It's April, and our teeter totter is still in perfect condition! This thing has been used by small children, tweens, and even adults. It is exposed to the elements, including snow, rain, and sunlight, and receives no shade throughout the day. It's still looking fantastic. You can't go wrong with this item, and I've seen my neighbors purchase it as well!.
It was simple to put together, and my girlfriend and I both teetered on it, so the weight limit is real, and I'm sure it could support even more. I agree that the seat fabric isn't ideal, with both the seat pad and the fabric cover retaining moisture. During the assembly process, I immediately upholstered clear vinyl over the seats before they were bolted on. Leaving aside the few pieces of grass that managed to get under my vinyl, this improved the durability and waterproofing of the seats.
This Gym Dandy Teeter Totter is exactly what it says on the tin: a DANDY! My husband and I put it together in about an hour (while two very nervous grandchildren ages 9 and 6 stood by in awe). Once it was finished, we tried it out first, and it was so much fun that we reluctantly handed it over to our grandchildren. They enjoy the Teeter Totter despite the fact that it is a little too big for them. This is something I strongly recommend for every yard, playground, or other place where kids play. The seats are cushioned for comfort and large enough for adults in this product. I'll say that this Teeter Totter isn't just for kids over the age of six; adults who are still young at heart will enjoy themselves while getting some exercise.
This is a great toy to play with. For young and older children, it is sturdy, stable, and comfortable. Of course, use with caution, but this teeter totter is sure to bring you a lot of smiles and giggles. It's not hard to put together. The parts are clearly labeled and grouped in a plastic bag on cardboard with clear illustrations. My grandchildren are completely ecstatic.
I just finished putting together this seesaw that I got yesterday. Even though the instructions were incorrect, assembly was simple enough. I noticed a lot of dings and chipped paint while putting it together. Even the dull paint they used to hide a rust spot is visible. Even the stickers had dirt underneath them, as well as what appeared to be water damage. Overall, the product seems to be of good quality so far. I despise having to spend additional funds to repair something that should have been purchased new in the first place. How will it react to the weather if I leave it alone outside? I'm confident that the paint will chip much faster. It's a pain to disassemble it and try to return it. Just keep an eye out for used parts! What a letdown!.
This is an excellent teeter-totter. I had a couple of issues. br>Because the legs are unbalanced, they come with holes that can be nailed or screwed down, so I'm hoping this will correct the wobble and lack of balance. This is a Chinese-made product with a lack of precision in the construction. For added security and height, I'll most likely install the legs on top of railroad ties. br>Because two of the seats are likely not water resistant, it comes with a cover that is both slippery and unsightly. After an hour, the cover came off due to the kids' frequent slipping on it. When it rains, I'm going to have to bring it inside or cover it. br>Three, the handle bolt construction can never be tightened enough; there is some play in the handle, but it isn't a major issue or a safety concern. I'm going to weld it all together so I don't have to worry about it. br>These are the reasons I gave it three stars; otherwise, I am happy with my purchase. I didn't get in touch with the manufacturer. I don't believe the problems are significant enough for me to disassemble it and return it. It's the right size for a child, and it's also the right size for moving around.
