The good news is that this is a beautiful swing set made of high-quality materials at an affordable price; the bad news is that you're lucky I'm not suing you. These are for my grandson, and I purchased them for him. I sat on one after installing it and immediately fell to the ground when I pushed back. I wasn't hurt, but I was taken aback. The chain appeared to be broken, so I assumed it was. Then, after searching for a break, I discovered that none existed. The bottom link that was supposed to connect the seat had a scuff on it, which I discovered. I'm not sure how it happened, but the link to the seat was never connected. It was jammed halfway through. To connect the link to the swing and close it, I had to bend it open. It's fine now, and everyone likes them, but if that had been my grandson flying off, you'd have gotten a call from my lawyers. A more thorough final inspection is required.

We've had these for three months and they've cracked on both sides! 4 year olds use them, and they are in the shade for at least half of the day. We're also in Michigan, so we've got that going for us. We've had a few days around 90 degrees during our time with them, but the majority of them have been cooler. I'm so disappointed because swings aren't cheap, and the return period has ended. Be careful who you buy from.

Overall, I'm a big fan of these swings! The yellow protective coat on one of the swings was ripping less than a week after they were hung on our swingset. I'm sure it won't be a big deal, but it was disappointing given how nice the swings looked. I only have one child who is old enough to use them, and he is three years old. So they weren't abused in any way. I'm hoping the rest of the coating holds up and doesn't start to peel off any time soon!.

I purchased two of these and built my own swingset for the kids. The quality astounds me from the moment I receive it. I think I paid around $40 for two swings. Seats are made of thick plastic and are nicely wrapped in formed rubber. They have heavy duty chains. It appears to be of higher quality than you might expect for the price, but here's the kicker: I'm not as sprightly as my five-year-old. I'm a big guy, 5'10" and 285 pounds. This swing did a fantastic job of supporting my weight. Before the swing fails, I'll break the main beam into 4X6 pieces. If you want to have a good time on a budget, these are a must-have!.
