It has a plastic seat and a coating around the chain that I like. A swing was one of the items my daughter, 11 years old, requested. She helped me pick out the swing. The reason we chose this swing over the others with wooden seats is that even when it is coated, exposed wood rots in the sun down here in the Southwest. A rope or nylon strap will do, but you can use almost any sturdy rope or nylon strap to secure the swing to the tree branch.

In daily use for the last 3 weeks, it hasn't shown any significant wear and tear. All the items shown in the picture are included. It appears to be pretty sturdy, which is nice to know. The colors have not faded in the slightest. There are water spots on it, but they appear to have become calcified over the years. For close to a year and a half, we have had this swing in our backyard. Five of our kids are very active and frequent users. People jump on it and stand in Rough is the way they are. There are still no dents or scratches on this swing. In spite of its coating, the chain has not come off in the slightest. The swing is excellent and I would highly recommend it! With the hardware required to hang it, it is an excellent deal.

This is what I came up with. I was in need of swings to replace the old ones on my large wooden playset. For the seat to be protected against chain pinches, I wanted to replace the chains with thicker, heavy duty ones that were coated. My new shoes fit perfectly! have been nicely coated so that there will be no pinching of kids doing goofy things while riding A wide range of seating options is available. Despite having a big butt, my mom can swing with them comfortably. We became very concerned with the proper height adjustment because when we got our set it was quite tall. Thanks for using long chains! In addition, the seats are painted a bright shade. It is very nice that the carabiners on this set keep the chains firmly attached to ones body and lock shut to prevent accidents. Even though children aren't too gentle with play equipment, I believe these meals will remain popular long after their playset has been taken apart. In person, these swings seem to be a better quality than others I've seen at other price points. There is only one regret that I have I should have bought 3 instead of 2.
