Although the ropes are long enough, they are only equipped with a carabiner at the end. On the carport, you'll need a hook or something else to which the carabiner can be attached. If the gap isn't long enough, depending on what you're using, this can help bridge the gap.
If my memory serves me correctly, this does not come with a rope. We purchased 15 feet from Wal-Mart. Mart weighed in at around 860 pounds. This was also intended to keep us parents in check. We have a lot of tall pines in our yard, so we went really high. It does have an 8-foot triangle on each side that can adjust the rope, which would be fine if it were hanging from a child's swing set, but for a tall tree, we had to purchase additional rope.
I bought this for my out-of-state grandchildren, but I've seen them play with it a few times. When I got it, they were two, four, and six years old. To get her leg into an opening, I believe a young child would have to purposefully twist her foot through it. My only concern for a toddler is that if the swing is too close to the tree trunk, an older child may accidentally swing or twirl a small child too close to the tree. This, however, did not occur. It's a fantastic toy: it's entertaining, durable, and appealing.
It's quite substantial. There's no way it'll fit between the two swings. It can also be twirled around, but this takes up even more room.

My children are enthralled with their new swing. When it arrived, we were pleased with the quality and packaging, and it was simple to assemble (we clipped it into our swing set). My two-year-old and four-year-old love to sit on it together, and there's plenty of room (I could fit in there too). I highly recommend it if you're looking for a well-made swing of a good size.
Very well-made! It's a hit with both the kid and me. It fits on our existing swing set and allows mommy and child to swing together. There's no need to assemble it, and it's well-made. I'll look for a round cushion to make nap time more comfortable, but for now, towels and outdoor pillows will suffice. The net style appealed to me because it was simple to maintain. The color green appealed to me as well.

I also bought the spinning piece recommended and thought it was too small at first, but it worked fine. br>Of course, because this has a 40" diameter, you must keep a safe distance from the tree trunk. That hadn't occurred to me, but fortunately, a couple of limbs were strong enough to use at a safe distance. br>This is a great activity for kids aged three to four! Our two-and-a-half-year-old grandson had trouble getting in and out of it, so he was wary of it. He was also thrown into it too quickly by his older sister. Another one is on my wish list.
The swing is absolutely incredible. It was an instant hit with the kids. They were already playing when I hung it because it was fully assembled. It took about ten minutes total. br>The swing appears to be well-made. It has a lot of sturdiness to it. My wife and I both used to play on it when we were younger. br>I would have given this a 5 star rating if the box had only one carabiner in it. The swing is supposed to be hung by two people. Aside from that, this swing comes highly recommended!.
The swing is a huge hit with our kids! Two people can ride at once; the only requirement is that you hold on at all times. You'll have a great time and won't fall off. We had to have our tree guy hang the swing, which added to the cost of installation, but it was well worth it for the added safety. Our tree limb reaches a height of about 30 feet.
The swing is fantastic. It served the purpose we needed it to, and it was simple to set up. It has survived the rain and has dried quickly. The structure is of high quality and is safe. Unlike some of the other swings, I did not need to purchase any additional hardware. I ended up cutting a spare bike tire in half and wrapping it around the rope that would come into contact with our tree. If this information is helpful to anyone else with setup, that is how we chose to set it up.
I appreciate how well-built it is. It was simple to attach it to an oak tree limb with a nylon strap. I purchased a swivel nylon strap, but the strap itself winds up and the swivel does not move. So I'm not sure about hanging it with a swivel. br>Sitting or lying on my back, I can swing comfortably on the swing. I chose this swing with netting over solid canvas swings so that the kids would have more places to hold on while swinging.
The quality appears to be good, and it has been used almost every day since Christmas (3. ) with up to three children spinning or swinging at the same time. a period of five months So far, it's held up well, and I doubt anyone could put more wear and tear on it than my children! It appears that they are attempting to rip things apart. Again, the most successful Christmas gift in a long time, and don't forget to get a good swivel because spinning appears to be a popular pastime.
