There is an alphabet and a number system! It is a great way to teach kids through visuals. It is a nice solid wooden letter and number set. This wooden box sits in an equally wooden stand. I like the colors a lot. We rounded the edges of all letters and numbers to prevent sharp edges. This was a great purchase. I am very pleased with it.
