The price is a bit steep for the size - but I might be able to base all my models with this one box because I only plan on using three rocks on each one

The box tends to be very small, measuring just 2 1/2 inches wide and a little over one third of an inch high. *Please keep in mind that this is only shredded and processed cork, which translates to a price that's considerably high. The fact that you can shred your own cork if we need more if you are lazy is nice, but I will just shred my own if we need.

Painting is possible. You may be able to get a good value for your money if you're looking for a "quick and easy" way to get mini-rocks. There is only one thing dyed in the cork material. The easy way to do this would be to get a large piece of cork from a hobby store and break it Any color can be painted over them just the same and they can be glued in the same manner. They are made of cork and are also usable as pot warmers. There are a lot of tops and caps on wine bottles. Everything is made of cork, it is free and it is everywhere. I just thought I'd mention it. (After) I purchased this, I did some further research on it. It is easy to find information on YouTube. You can get the same qualities for free if you do a little research.

If you can't get real pebbles or rocks, that is okay too

It looks more like a pile of wood chips than a rock. The average diameter of these beads is a few millimeters. You can use these instead of real pebbles or rocks if you don't have access to them (perhaps if you live in an urban area). You will be able to get real stones for less money and more convincingly.

They come in a reddish brown color, but can be painted any color. From 25mm figures to O scale model railroads, this scale can be used for everything.

This is the perfect material for a base

Despite its weight, this package is extremely light. Cork is used in the manufacture of this item. There are some great rocky areas on the base of a miniature with this. This makes for a great addition to your basing needs since there is enough to last a long time.
