Hello,br>We're sorry, but we don't have any replacement pieces for this puzzle. br>Best wishes,br>Your Melissa Friends Doug
I'm not sure how big the puzzle is, but it has raised wooden pieces that my 2-year-old grandson enjoys.
It was purchased for my granddaughter, who is two years old. Because the pieces are over 1/2 inch thick, she takes them out and plays with them in addition to assembling the puzzle. They will be able to stand on a table or other flat surface.
The pieces, but not the puzzle board, are magnetic. To get them out, you'll need a magnetic fishing pole.

Minnie was, of course, the one who got hurt. The box was undamaged, as were the other contents of the box. The chunk that's missing isn't inside the shrink wrap, so it must have happened before the item was shrink wrapped. Not because of the product, but because of the way I felt about it. Melissa is what I've purchased for my children. I've bought Doug toys before and have always been pleased with the quality. Things happen in the manufacturing process. They appear to require additional quality assurance personnel. What I don't understand is why an Amazon employee would see that the item was damaged but still ship it to me. So, for $8, I need to set up my printer, which is still in the box, print the label, and take it to the UPS store. I'm trying to plan a party for my child while dealing with a pandemic. It appears that simply requesting a replacement and keeping my $8 is not an option. It's laughable.
No Pete. The manufacturer item number for the listing is the same as what is on the back of the puzzle I received, but it is not the same as what is pictured for this listing, indicating that either the puzzle design has changed or the item listing is incorrect. The manufacturer item number for the listing is the same as what is on the back of the puzzle I received, but it is not the same as what is pictured for this listing. Pete was one of the main reasons I bought this puzzle. In place of Pete, the one I got has Huey, Louie, and Dewey. In addition, the image of the Clubhouse in the background has vanished. Furthermore, it is known by a completely different name. The product information on this page needs to be updated in some way. I'm undecided about whether or not to return the puzzle. Whatever the case may be, my daughter enjoys Mickey Mouse. She does, however, adore Pete, and Pete merchandise is extremely scarce. br>br>The puzzle appears to be of the same high quality that Melissa has become known for. Doug. That does not appear to be a problem.
Colors are nice; pieces that are large enough to fit in the palm of a child's hand; a little let down Like other Melissa and Doug puzzles I've bought before, I assumed these were motion/light activated with sound. Granddaughter has recently become "into" Minnie Mouse, so I assumed she'd enjoy this, but she's not interested without sound. I spent more money on it because I believed it had sound (based on what I read). I was giddy with delight when I saw her smile. It did until the first time it happened. That's not the case. No sound! She's 17 months old and hasn't shown any interest in anything! The M, on the other hand The D farmer (Old McDonald) sound puzzle is a popular and well-liked game.
The pieces are large and attractive. Each piece is approximately 1 - 2 inches long and wide. I like how big the pieces are because they don't get lost easily. They're 1 1/2 inches thick and at least 2 inches in overall size. They're also nice and solid pieces, quite heavy for their size, with the same color picture underneath each one, making it easier for the kids to match them up instead of just giving you the general shape. These are a hit with my kids. They constantly play with them, and once they've completed the puzzle, they throw them out and start over. I got the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Winnie the Pooh ones, and I'm sure I'll get a few more in the future.
She has had it for a few months now, at the age of 20 months. The character pieces are well-made and can stand up to their own weight. She enjoys putting them on the puzzle, standing them up by themselves, and even knocking them down like dominoes. She also enjoys calling out the names of all the characters while playing with them. I really like how this isn't just a puzzle.
I had the first one replaced because of it, and the replacement is also defective; it doesn't make the sounds it should, and I gave up trying to replace it; my son still enjoys it even without sound. I'm very disappointed because it's a high-end brand.
These are thicker than usual pieces, as shown. As a result, they don't require any knobs or other attachments because they protrude so far from the puzzle board. They're also thick enough to stand on their own, like miniature action figures. My 16-month-old granddaughter will not complete the puzzle, but she will place Minnie Mouse on the coffee table and "talk" with her.
This Mickey Mouse puzzle was a hit with my 2-year-old son. He gets very frustrated when he can't figure something out, and this one was simple enough that he didn't have to come to me in tears yelling for help, but difficult enough that he had to think and double-check the picture to make sure he put it in the right spot.
