It was clear that the package would be small, and the quantity was specified in the description, but I was shocked at how small it was. My main concern is the fact that it's not a real rock, but the price is still worth it. I thought it was crazy cheap for the size when I first saw it, so knowing its size I guess it's a fair price. Because it's rubber or wood, very light, when I applied resin without waiting for glue to cure and secured the "rock" to the base, it floated at the water line rather than resting.
Second only to how good the snow is in this line of products from Army Painter, this is my absolute favorite. It is the perfect size for basing and has enough different colors available to provide beautiful bases without the need for any more painting. Granules can be used to base miniatures without having to highlight any areas or paint them.
This is a great item to start with for any beginner, or even for a more advanced beginner. Just glue it down with water down glue to secure it.
These Army Painter basing materials have nice colors and textures, and all of them are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. This is a great way to decorate miniatures. When you use these products, your minis and models look absolutely stunning because the bases give them a realistic look.
It looks great. We plan to buy more of this.
If you want to really bring this out, you can apply pvc glue and follow it up with some liquid paint. You can also go the extra mile and dry-brush it to make it look amazing.
The design is good, but the price is high.
Miniatures that are adorned with this product will stand out.
Thank you for what you described.
