The Megaminx isn't great at cutting corners, but it gets the job done. Its corners, on the other hand, can be flipped. You can remove all of Pyraminx's edges and corners, which I like because a few of them felt like they had been lightly coated in lubricant on the outsides. One move was incorrect in a couple of the tutorial algorithms. Because the Fisher cube doesn't come with a tutorial, I'd suggest sticking to the 3x3 algorithms. The Mirror 3x3 is a lot better than my old one, and the majority of the cubes are pretty good at cutting corners. Overall, I think it's fantastic.
They are very popular with my 16-year-old son. These are extremely popular with my 16-year-old son. He has no trouble figuring out the 3*3. He has figured out how to solve the 4*4 equation. 5*5, as well as a few others. He's stumped by the decagon one. Except for three sides, he has all of them figured out. br>br>The sides are easy to move. Each one comes in its own box, with its own set of instructions for solving it. There is also a book that contains all of the instructions for solving the puzzles. You can easily gift them to different people because they come in their own box. I bought it for myself and as a gift for my Sunday school students. They adore it, and it is of excellent quality. Turning is simple, and the structure is solid.
Comes with a booklet containing all of the algorithms for each of the cubes (except the round one, which is just a 3D version of unblock me (the game)). The cubes are QIYI, a great cube brand, but they're not the speed cubes you'd buy for competitions. Regular cubes are all there is to it. It can go a little faster with a little lube, but that's about it. There isn't much of an edge to cut (as cube speed solvers can attest). br>br>Great to give as a gift; however, it does not include display triangles (which is a pity). We were on the lookout for some speed cubes. A good selection of 12 different cubes appeared to be included in the package. They arrived in a short time. However, one of them immediately broke. The primary company was unable to replace just that one cube because Amazon fulfilled the order. So, without hesitation, the company refunded my credit card for that single cube. I also only ordered the one cube that we required. There are no more complications.
My sixteen and eighteen-year-old daughters year- This was given to them because they were bored at home. I had no idea that each one comes in its own small box, which is then placed inside a large carry case with a handle. This is really nice, and they really like it. When my package arrived today, I was pleasantly surprised. 2 days late, the product had been opened and clearly played with before I received it, and three of the cubes were covered in peanut butter. I'm mortified; I bought these for my nephew, who has behavioral issues, and rubix cubes are his current stress reliever; now I'm afraid to let him play with them. I'm not sure how to clean them without damaging the stickers. So upset.
My children gave it to me as a Christmas present, and I adore it. This set is a lot of fun, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't used to working with puzzle cubes. Because of their large number of components, the dodecahedral (Megaminx) and the 5x5 are particularly fragile. They're arranged around my desk, and I'm constantly playing with them. My little ones enjoy playing with the Magic Rainbow Ball because it makes them feel like they're part of the game.
