As I compared it with the similar products on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. My purchase was well worth it, and I am glad I made it. All the plastic ones I was finding just didn't appeal to me, then I discovered these and they were fabulous! Playing with this set for hours on end and making so many yummy play food dishes has been a fun activity for my girls. The product is definitely worth looking into!.

Having this for our toddler is a big hit with us. It allows him to learn a skill he needs in a safe manner, and he enjoys it. Even after several months, he still plays with the knife once a day, even though he took several weeks to learn how to hold the knife properly. In the past, we bought it for him when he was about 16 months old, and it works fine for him. He gets a big plastic bowl and wooden spoon and he makes a lot of soup with pretty questionable flavors. Four months after we received our order, one of the Velcro pieces broke off. Glad we purchased a Velcro kind instead of a magnetic kind. There is no need to worry about him swallowing some, as we can fix it. Despite the Velcro coming off, I think this is a good purchase and would buy again even with this shortcoming.

It took me a while to decide on this one after reading all the reviews. Having done so has really made me happy. I've been working on this for one and a half years now The year is It is a hit with my grandson, who is almost 9 years old. My grandson can easily separate the pieces with some effort, since the velcro sticks together strongly enough so that the pieces don't fall apart. I am impressed with how durable the cutting knife is, and the paint holds up well. I liked the size of this toy - it wasn't too small like a lot of these toys. As the tomato rotted, the stem broke off. Our son has shown an interest in playing with it for several months we got it for him a few months ago. This set met our expectations and then some. Our Melissa and Doug set is also nice, but this one looks better since the fruit is more realistic looking. However, today we found that the tomato had cracked and the paint was chipping off its All the other fruit and vegetables are fine, but we will check them regularly from now on.
