The first time I saw this, I loved it. My daughter was not a huge fan, but she seemed happy to have Playing with it every now and then is normal for the kids. However, the real problem is that Melissa and Doug products have an extremely high degree of paint chipping. Within six months, all the chips had been inserted. Unfortunately, I find that to be very disappointing. The same toy does not appeal to me, so I do not want to buy it over and over again. The toys we buy are quite expensive, but we also use them as they are packaged. There are toys I keep for the next kid that I have from up to 5 years ago. They are the kind of products I like. Those that you do not have to replace in the future and have a lifetime of enjoyment from. My advice to you is to stay away from the wooden play food and go for rubbery learning foods. The product was made to last! Although the mixer is still functional, I had to dispose of the rest after I threw it out.

As a Christmas present for my four year old, I bought this. This is definitely a gift that is fitting for aspiring bakers and comes with all the necessary hardware. Although I love that the handle can be turned for mixing, the flaw in the design is that you can't basically wash anything inside the bowl and mix it There will be a problem with the handle. There is even more cardboard in the box than before. One of the only reasons I gave this item four stars is because the velcro on the butter is defective. It is too low on the butter pat with the velcro set too deeply in the wood. I may have to get a replacement since this is purely an error.
