For kids who like to imagine and play, this is a great toy! However, parents are not going to appreciate the fact that the fire makes "nature noises with crickets" and that's not pleasant for children. I like the fact that it lights up! There is no need for parents to be bothered with extra noise. For awareness, it would be great if that was mentioned in the description.
Everything was in great condition when it arrived. This book is a big hit with my 5-year-old. Our ears don't mind the noise too much, but it is quite noisy. It's not a bad idea to cover the speaker with electrical tape, as mentioned by another reviewer. If there was a volume button, that would be nice. Although it is still a neat feature to have "camping" sounds, it isn't necessary for the game.
Playing with the play food for hours really engages my son he likes pretending that he is chopping up the fruit and vegetables. Velcro separates the veggies (it's a pouch). Besides pretending to roast S'mores, he also likes to run around pretending to be a chef. I got a lot of stickers too in the bug theme! I'm in love with this This is a highly recommended book.
She is 2 years old. There is nothing she loves more than I'm actually pretty impressed with how bright it is This would make a great addition to a camp! Having a campfire and listening to the campfire sounds is really fun for her. games are cute too, she likes to rip them in half in order to switch around the pieces since they have velcro. I love it! What a great read!.
There is a nice sound of nature coming from a campfire. It seems obvious, but the sound from these speakers would get loud if they were not on carpet. Putting up a lantern is a great idea. Once the toys are not in use, they will all be contained in the bag included.
Our grandson, 3 years old, loves this, since he will be able to listen to the crackle of the fire.
This would make a great gift for a child who is just learning about camping or who enjoys it.
There is a great deal of excitement among the children. When I saw this tent, I knew I had to buy it for them. I didn't have to get it because I already bought them a little tent and some camping equipment. The kids make s'mores in front of the fire. Such a cute little puppy.
The set I bought is cute and perfect for a weekend at the cabin with the family. I found out that my nephew stole it from my sons and played with it while we were on vacation. One is going to be bought for my boys of 6 and 9 as well. It was a big hit with the kids. Play is made much more fun with this toy.
