Melissa & Doug Fridge Food Wooden Play Food Set (9 pcs)

Melissa and Doug toys have been a part of my life for over 13 years, and I recently chose this one for my youngest granddaughter with confidence. This is the second time in two packages that this has happened. The only downside to this purchase was the yogurt, which was obviously not acceptable. It's the second item I've received from Melissa and Doug that has a defect. Should they send me a replacement, I will upgrade to a 5-star rating.

An adorable toy, this Melissa and Doug food set is a great way to stimulate children's imaginations. It is so darling and heavy duty that I will not complain if the paint chips in a short period of time. In a nutshell, I have one son and one daughter - She found a grocery store for me to play with as my granddaughter is 3 1/2 years old. There were a lot of colored boxes available, but they weren't all made from the same material. Her frustrations were amplified by the fact that several of them broke. My search on the net led me to this set, which included several wooden shapes decorated with flowers. When my son called me when they arrived, he said that these were exactly what they were looking for, which I totally agree with! I know Mom and Dad are super happy, but Grandma's also happy, so you better believe everyone is excited about this! The next one I'm planning to buy is from Melissa & Doug Next birthday and Christmas, she will get a (dog) toy.

My first thought was that this set looked pretty good with the milk carton, plus orange juice, ice cream, butter, etc. , but when I received it, I was surprised to find out that it was made mostly The fact that she likes it and it will hold up a lot is fine. It seems like a very good product. The lighter weight I was expecting for little hands probably wasn't the case. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because of this. It would have been better had I read the description carefully. It would be my recommendation to purchase this product in general.

I have seen her making soup, cupcakes, and ice cream all the time. It seems like she has destroyed pretty much all the Melissa and Doug cardboard food boxes we gave her last year. It didn't happen right away, apparently, but a bunch of jumping on them and tearing them, as well as giving them to her ten month old brother to chew, really took their toll over the last I think the first thing to go were the refrigerator boxes of milk, butter, and cheese for some reason. I saw this set during a lightning deal and I would have bought it, but I couldn't justify the full price for it. I just love the set. Our children love these for the simple fact that they are all wood, like much of the Melissa and Doug stuff we own, and the size is perfect for their As you can see, the items are all smaller than their actual counterparts, but it won't matter to your child. If they are anything like mine, they'll be too busy making us dinner to notice. A great set of food that will last for a long time!.
