Green Toys are my favorite toys, and I will buy whatever they do, but this is the first the brand has made that has somewhat disappointed The cupcake pieces are just placed on top of one another rather than staying together, clicking together, or any other way to bring them together. I lose a few pieces when playing pretend. It is not a huge deal, but it is inconvenient.
This is a very cute toy, and my daughter really enjoys it. The smell of any green toy we've owned before this one was in the water. I feel like I'm getting a headache from the smell of these cupcakes! In addition, it makes me wonder, "is it safe for my children?"? There is a smell in the house, and I hope it will go away soon. The main reason I dislike the packaging is that they claim to care about the earth but use large plastic bags for the packaging. There is no logic to this. Cupcakes' parts do fall easily, but I would have preferred a package that did not contain This plastic wrap is 100 percent recycled, and the package says so on the clear side. I find this hard to believe since there is a great deal of difficulty in making perfectly clear plastic from recycled materials.
It is made of a material that seems to last for a long time. This is what she enjoys as a 6 year old. The only complaint i would have is that the pieces do not snap together, they just slide about on top of one another. This can be annoying, especially when my 1 year old plays with her sister and keeps taking all the pieces off when she is trying to play with her sister. However, other than that it is not too bad, the parts are big enough that I do not have to worry if my 1 year old puts them in her mouth and chokes.
I appreciate how well written this is Toy that is well-made and of high quality. I got it for my daughter who is 1 years old, and my son who is 3 years old loves it as well. One complaint I have is that it smelled musty, which was not pleasant. In this case, it is the plastic that is the problem, not the box. Considering we have multiple items from this company, and I know their plastic typically does not smell this way, it doesn't make sense. After soaking the cloth for a few hours in soapy water and essential oils, the smell still wasn't fully gone. I would have given 5 stars if it had not been for the misleading cover image.
It is highly recommended that you purchase I've ordered dozens of these toys for my son and for my friends, too. These donuts are made with recycled milk jugs. They are durable and dishwasher safe. The pieces can be mixed and matched by the child to make different types of donuts. Supporting this company is my favorite thing to do. The packaging is just as awesome as the product itself.
Everywhere in my house, I find pieces. We have had this set for a few months now and I am simply unable to put it down. They are very cute, but I think they are not for the under five crowd (a large number of whom I have). In the process of collecting the pieces, I will try to stick them together using gorilla glue, E600, super glue, and hot glue to make one cupcake that can't be taken apart. Best of luck to me!.
