The first time I have been let down by a Green Toy is by this one. I always buy anything made by Green Toys, but this one has slightly disappointed They are simply placed on top of each other instead of being joined together, but I imagined they would stay together or click together. As a result, they simply fall apart. This isn't a deal breaker, but it isn't ideal.
The song is very cute, and my daughter likes it very much. Toys have always smelled. We've had so many green toys and none have ever smelt like this. There is a chemical smell to these cupcakes and it gives me a Having kids makes me worry about safety, so I ask myself "is it safe for them?" It's bad smelling and I'm hoping it will go away soon. I also dislike the fact that they say they care about the environment, yet they still use large quantities of plastic for their packaging. There is no sense to it. Even though I understand cupcakes' pieces fall easily, I wish they did not use plastic packaging. There is a 100% recycled symbol on the clear plastic package. Nevertheless, recycling plastic of this quality is impossible, since crystal clear plastic is extremely difficult to create from scratch.
The Green Toys line is one of my favorites, but goodness gracious, they missed the mark here. Pieces of jewelry seem to be everywhere in my home. It's been a few months now that we have had this set, and I just can't stop watching it. While it looks cute all set up, it really isn't ideal for the under-five crowd (of which there are many in my family). In the meantime I have collected the pieces to try to stick them together with hot glue, E600, hot glue, and gorilla glue in order to make one cupcake that cannot be separated. This is her favorite pastime since she's 6 years old. It is made of a material that appears to last a long time. The only complaint I would have is that the pieces do not snap together easily. That can be annoying, especially when playing with my 1 year old and taking the parts off when my sister is trying to play with it. that, they are not bad, the pieces are large enough that if my 1yr old plays with them, I don't need to worry about her putting them in her mouth and choking.
This was bought for our daughter who is 1 year old, and our son who is 3 years old is just as enthralled. One complaint is that the smell of the place was very strange, In this case, the plastic is the problem, not the box. This kind of smell is unusual because our household has multiple items made by this company, and I know their plastic doesn't usually smell like that. It still wouldn't get rid of the smell after soaking it in water, soap, and essential oils for a couple of hours. I would have given it 5 stars had it not been for some problems.

There are several kinds of food toys she has received, including plastic, fabric, metal, wood, and some stoneware, but the ones from Green Toys are her favorite because of their well-designed shapes. The colors and styling are beautiful, the density is excellent (very sturdy), and the size ratio is perfect for my daughter (for example, the cupcake tray, which my daughter can use to display the cupcakes at her tea party or to present to her father as an offer for a pretend restaurant). I am definitely going to purchase these toys despite the fact that there are more fashionable or more expensive toys available.
