My daughter's favorite Christmas present was this low-cost plane. It produces sound that is realistic. It sounded so much like being on a real plane that the captain's voice surprised me!.
It's packaged in a brown cardboard box. If you're going to wrap it up and give it as a gift, it'll look terrible. If you're keeping it for yourself, it should be fine; however, the quality of Little People toys doesn't seem to be up to par with what I'm used to. I'm not sure if it's real or not. It's a winner, though, if you just want a cheap plane that the kids will enjoy.
This toy appears to have a lot of potential. more. You can play music or sound by pressing the button or putting the pilot in his seat, you can open and close the door (too small for young children to understand what it is, and too small to put people through), and you can manually spin the "engines" on each side. It's not a bad toy, but it should be able to do more. or, at the very least, have the engines start when you press a button or the wheels start turning.
An old Fisher-Price airplane was discovered by my four-year-old granddaughter in an antique store that was closing down. She gave it to me so I could add it to my collection of Fisher-Price small people. When it came time to return home, she decided that the plane should fly directly to her home. When she arrived the following week, I had a brand new Fisher-Price little people air plane (with the larger, safer passengers). Is it possible for us to trade? Yes. Her best friend has relocated over a thousand miles away. It gets a lot of use.
They like putting people in and taking them out, especially with the open and close door. This is a well-made little toy, with the quality I've come to expect from Fisher Price Little People toys. It's a great toy for my toddler boys and lasts a long time. They enjoy how much fun it is, and I appreciate how inexpensive it is while still surviving their roughhousing.
Our son had a medical procedure, and the hospital staff had a variety of little people toys; our son loved them, so we ordered them for him. This was number one, followed by the farm, garage, and tractor. We'll also be getting a bus and a fire truck. It is loved by both adults and children. Great quality; we have Melissa and Doug and other brands, but this is the best.
The little people were the same as the ones in the store, but they were packaged in a bag. I've never received the little people cardboard packaging when ordering from other sellers or purchasing in stores. It was difficult to give as a gift because of this. I ended up purchasing a second one from Kohl's to give as a gift and keeping this one for my children to play with. Everything works fine; however, I don't think it's "giftable. ".
I got mine in regular packaging; if you get frustration free packaging, you get a brown box. I've heard people make that comment, but it's possible they didn't know the difference. My son adores it, and it's very cute and sturdy for the price; yes, it's a little loud, but not in an annoying way. It can produce a wide range of songs and sounds. He's happy, so it was well worth the money!.
