I am grateful that the kids at their school enjoy playing with the ice cream cones provided by their classroom resources. I bought my own set from Amazon so they could play with them at home. School is remotely located at the moment, so I got a set. There was nothing but disappointment in what I received! The new mold is obviously inferior to the old mold, which is kind of hard to believe since they changed it recently. My second choice was to find an older set on eBay and wait until I received it so that I could illustrate the big difference between the new and the old. As a result, the cones have become smaller and more fragile. Ice cream cone "scoops" are also much smaller and less realistic than they did in the original. This is a toy for very young children, so I wonder why the manufacturer decided that it would be a good idea to make the pieces smaller and less durable. That set of cards is going back to you. Several pictures of old and new versions of this toy can be found on my blog.
My one-to-one Skype classes with students in China allow me to teach an English language Currently there is only one program available. These ice cream sets have been a huge hit with my students, who love them as a "reward" system! During a unit on colors, the ice cream reinforces the colors that they learn as they eat the ice cream. When the younger ones lick the ice cream, they are able to practice counting how many scoops they have, which helps them reinforce their numbers. It uses two cones to reinforcing positive behavior, so I can use it in several ways. Students know that if they don't follow directions, I will take one ice cream from them and give it As long as I don't get any ice cream, they love to watch me compare the two cones (mine is usually empty) and laugh when I cry. Many students have experienced a significant improvement in their focus and engagement by using this program. A sturdy product is also provided. The cones are a little smaller than adult hands can manage, but when the scoops fall off and scatter, I have to dive for them and it is a funny sight. The relationship between me and my students is also built this way. The money spent was well worth it.
It was a fun new set of colors that made me excited about owning the older one. Originally, I owned the older version. This is a HUGE disappointment! 1 *br It's incredible how much smaller the cones are. I loved the older set because it was the perfect size for my 3.
The set is much thinner than the other one
3. There is no staying power for ice cream on You have to hold their feet upright or they will fall off (Biggest Disappointment) I own another set in which the cone pops into a groove in I am so bummed for as awesome as this set really used to give these as gifts, but no longer do.
It is terrible. It was terrible to see these. It took me about 30 minutes to let my toddler play with them. Her whole face was wet, and the ice cream scoops didn't stay stacked on top of each other at all. As far as I can tell, there's nothing holding them together except a click mechanism. If even the smallest tilt occurs in the cone, the scoops begin to Is there any point to this? As I returned the items to the box after crying for half an hour, I put them back in. The whole thing was a.
Choosing Learning Resources is getting quality, sturdy and solid rubbery material which is what Lesrning Resources is known for! The realistic aspect is great There's no doubt they'll be handed down to future generations!.
I have found the ice cream cones to be a very useful tool to aid my granddaughters in recognizing Each of them is two years old, and they have been playing in the sandbox all summer making ice cream. I gave them the cones to use indoors now that the weather has turned colder and we will be spending more time These indoor ice creams are durable and washable, and they are much more animated than normal indoor ice creams. We added some plastic dishes to our cones, which they can stack easily, so that if they fall off the cone, they can pick it up again and continue stacking. I agree with others that they fall off the cones, but we added them to help them learn their colors. In addition to asking to play with them often, they are getting better at recognizing.
From Learning Resources, I have purchased several other play food products in the past that have been of The products offered by this company are definitely some of the best in the industry.
The design is terrible! The quality of this product is extraordinary on the one hand, and I am obsessed with it on the other! Despite its thickness and bendability, silicone is strong and durable There's nothing better than ice cream! I think it's a lot better than plastic that tends to break or bend. However, the icecream tends to slide off the cones as some reviewers noted. In order to get the cone into the icecream, you have to push and bend it up, and then there is roughly one inch of cone left on the outside. Sadly, there are no better options on the market, so I'm stuck with it, but my 2 year old is quite frustrated by it. It's just a part of growing up for older kids.
