However, because the foam is relatively hard, don't expect a soft landing from a fall on your bum when making play castles. At the very least, they aren't hard enough to cause injury when thrown, making them a welcome addition to any collection.

year old! My one-year-old son enjoys picking these up and carrying them around the house or putting them on the coffee table or sofa. He hasn't yet grasped the concept of building with blocks, so I'm confident we'll get our money's worth from these blocks after at least a couple of years of use. We may get another set with different sizes of pieces at some point in the future, but for now, these are fine!.
