The blocks are bulky and have a difficult time locking into place. The shapes of some of the blocks are also angled, making stacking even more difficult. My son enjoys legos, but he does not play with them as much as the smaller ones. They're heavy, and he's tripped over them on several occasions. While storage is simple, getting them out of the container can be difficult for a small child. Maybe it would be more fun if we had two toddlers working together. Ann is a child who is over the age of two.
The only other disadvantage is that they do not "click" together, so my children are occasionally frustrated when their creations fall over or fall apart.
These are ideal for small children to construct with. And the best part is that when they're thrown, they don't break anything!.
When my son was making an airplane, the block wouldn't stay interlocked, he became frustrated. They aren't like the mega legos, which remain connected. These can be stacked and easily knocked over.
