Make a financial plan. I decided to get my son some foam blocks for his birthday because he enjoys playing with them at the library. My return window had closed by the time he opened them in June, after I ordered them in April. These aren't the same as the library blocks. Some are not straight, others are smaller, pieces are small, and some are CUT. CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT CUT C Check out the images. I'd think these are a safety hazard if he were younger; what a rip-off and waste of money. I'm glad it was a present for my own child; otherwise, I would have been embarrassed. If you absolutely must have these, make sure you inspect the package before the return period expires. However, buying something that isn't trash in the first place is a better option.
These are a big hit with my wife. She can't get enough of them and is irritated that I'm only giving them three stars. They are acceptable to our child. I like them as well, but I'm bothered by the lack of consistency in the pieces, which means they don't stack well. Although the package claims to have precise edges, this is not the case. This is crucial if you're a control freak like me. If you're a frolicking good timer like my wife, then by all means, have fun! Even when the baby is fast asleep.
It is possible to bite off soft foam. I received exactly what I had hoped for and expected. I'd still be wary of letting an 18-month-old play with them because it's far too easy to bite a piece off and there's a risk of choking. Play, on the other hand, was enjoyable. My grandson will play with it differently as he gets older, stacking and knocking down, and so on, similar to how he plays with blocks. Colorful, just the right size for little hands, and a simple package to empty and clean. I am pleased with my purchase. They were very appealing to him.
I didn't care for these blocks and had to return them. Because there are so many small pieces, you won't be able to construct anything very large. Furthermore, many of the pieces are cylindrical, making construction difficult for a young child with shaky hands. Due to the small pieces and lack of variety, even the adults couldn't come up with anything exciting. They may float around as an acceptable bath toy, but you can't build anything with them in the tub, and there are far more interesting floaty toys available. This was a flop, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I got two of them. one for my granddaughter to use during her physical and occupational therapy - While we had a great time, we discovered that the pieces were of varying sizes and shapes, with some being crushed. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised considering the cost - We have played with them and thrown away the shipping package, so we doubt they will return. br>br>It goes without saying that they cannot be used for therapy.
I never expected to find something that was ripped, bitten, and worn. It's filthy to the point of being uninhabitable. This is not something I would advise anyone to do.
These were purchased for my son to use in the tub. They make good bath toys, according to the description. They're great for floating around in the bathtub, but they don't stick to the walls like regular foam blocks do. I was hoping to get him something similar to what I had as a kid, but I'm disappointed. I'm going to buy blocks from a different vendor.
Doesn't mention the word "non-" at all. There's no mention of toxic anywhere on the package, and since it's marketed to children aged 3 and up, I'm not sure it's something I'd want my child to play with. It's difficult to make anything with these because they don't line up correctly and keep toppling over, as many other reviews have stated. I would have tried to return them, but I felt bad about it because we had played with them so much. Small children who need to practice stacking skills should avoid this game.
