Except for this one, Doug puzzles are my favorite. First and foremost, the pieces are thin in comparison to other puzzles, and they are not flat; in fact, when I tried to label one end, it popped from the opposite end, as shown in my photo. I would recommend purchasing another Melissa puzzle. Doug has a brain.
I have no regrets; he adores it even more than I anticipated! It's very sturdy, and the pieces are quite large, so putting it together is fairly simple for a younger child. My son and I must have assembled and disassembled that puzzle at least eight times the first day he received it! (He's only three years old, so it was easy to keep him entertained. ) I adore Melissa and Doug; they create fantastic children's toys and activities, and the majority of what they produce is educational, which is a huge plus. I'm so glad I found out about Amazon's availability of these puzzle sets because I'm sure I'll be ordering more in the near future.
We bought several of these sets over the years, and they grew up to be perfect for both of our daughters (ages 3 and 6). They were originally purchased for our oldest daughter, but they lasted long enough for our youngest to begin using them at the age of 2 1/2. br>br>This is a floor puzzle that measures 2 feet by 3 feet. It has 24 large pieces and is themed after dinosaurs. It's a lot of fun to put together, and the art and colors are fantastic. Several multi-colored, cool-looking objects can be seen in the image. A volcano erupting in the background is surrounded by colorful dinosaurs. It's an excellent first puzzle set for kids, as it teaches them how to recognize how puzzle pieces fit together. As their hand-eye coordination improves, they will find it easier to use the larger pieces. After a lot of use (abuse), the puzzles have proven to be surprisingly durable over the years. My daughters have frequently used them as a dance floor. After all of the stomping, the pieces bend a little, but they're thick and sturdy enough that they still fit together fine. br>br>Be aware that some Secondary Amazon Sellers' prices can be more than $20. On Amazon, each puzzle cost around $12, and we found a few that were even cheaper when they were on sale locally. Make certain to comparison shop. br>br>Overall, these are high-quality puzzles that are a lot of fun. It's amazing how well even very young children can handle these. After a little practice, my two-and-a-half-year-old could put the whole thing together in no time, and once my girls got really good at it, they loved the positive reinforcement and praise for a job well done. This is fantastic. This puzzle is one of my toddler's favorites because it includes all of her favorite modes of transportation; it's a big puzzle, but the pieces are small enough for a two-year-old to handle. 7-year-old to hold and assemble on the floor by herself (with a little moral support at first). After all, there are 24 pieces). The different colors make it easier for younger children to put the puzzle together, and having a picture on the box is also a plus. My little girl has been playing with this puzzle for a few weeks now, and it's starting to show signs of wear, as shown in one of my photos. Nonetheless, in terms of entertainment, this puzzle is a great buy. More puzzles of this size and type would be welcome in my collection.
This puzzle is a hit with our 3-year-old son! Because it's a good size and the pattern isn't too complicated, he'll be able to figure it out and enjoy the process. Sturdy and heavy-duty- When we do laps around the completed masterpiece to celebrate his amazing puzzle skills, I'm less concerned about him stepping on it because of the duty pieces.
This is one of my grandchildren's favorite puzzles out of a large collection. They are nearly two and four years old, and even the youngest can snap the large puzzle pieces into place. Because the vehicles shown are large and colorful, it's easier to match colors and shapes to the appropriate pieces as needed. The puzzle is large in size, but the pieces are small. It's ideal for two people. to 4- year- olds.
He's crazy about cars, and who'd have guessed it, he's also crazy about this puzzle. Fortunately, he is capable of completing the task on his own, as he names the color and type of vehicle as he completes each one. He's rough on the puzzle, but it's held up very well after at least 100 times, and he could probably make it at least 100, maybe 200 more times. What can I say? br>br>I'm not sure. It's a decent piece of work.

My two-year-old son adores the Melissa and Doug traffic jam puzzle, which he assembles and disassembles at least a dozen times per day. This Safari jungle puzzle isn't up to par; we've only had it for a few days and the layers of cardboard are already peeling apart on multiple pieces, requiring me to tape it.
