Hello. It is necessary that you purchase it once more. It's also a hit with my 2-year-old: ) and he is a big fan of Mister Maker on YouTube, which he is constantly watching. I also enjoy Melissa and Doug puzzles.
I'm not sure what the Melissa and Doug rack is like, but it fits on the puzzle rack we ordered on Amazon, so I doubt it's much different.
Bright colors, patterns, and shapes adorn this pieced wooden puzzle. Kind Regards, Customer Servicebr>S, br>Customer Servicebr>S, br>Customer Servicebr>S, br>Customer Servicebr>S, br>Kind Regards, Customer Servicebr S International

It's been two weeks since I received this item. My son has played with it on and off (we don't leave it out all the time), so he's probably played with it four or five times in total. We were playing with it this morning when I noticed the paint on the shapes was chipping off! br>br>I am concerned about the safety of this product, and when I looked at the labeling to see if there was any information about the paint, I was disappointed to discover that it is manufactured in China. Melissa has been contacted by me. Doug, on the other hand, wanted to warn other parents in the meantime. What a letdown!.
Unfortunately, the quality of Melissa and Doug is deteriorating. For the past 12 years, I've been a loyal customer, and the quality has definitely improved. I just opened my Amazon box, and the puzzle, which was still wrapped in shrink wrap, had a corner ripped out. The puzzle pieces themselves appear to be of good quality, but the puzzle board appears to be of poor quality. I'm going to keep it, but I expected it to be in perfect condition when I bought it, which it wasn't.
When my son was 14 months old, I purchased this. It's been a lot of fun for him to play with. Because the pieces are large enough for him to hold in his hands and place on the board, he was able to learn about the various shapes. 'Can you find the triangle/square/oval?' was a game we used to play. ' and he'd pick the correct piece and place it on the board. br>br>Now that he's almost two, completing the puzzle is no longer a challenge for him. We play by stacking the pieces on top of one another, which helps him develop fine motor skills. br>br>Overall, I like the quality. The paint is beginning to chip off after 6 months of heavy use. This was only to be expected, given how many times my son has tossed these around.
Those are not the ones! So this is the second set of shapes I've bought for my child. The first set was from an Amazon brand that I had never heard of before. To be honest, it's not a bad set; there are just a few issues with color consistency and too many abstract shapes that an 18-month-old wouldn't need right now. I liked this set by M because it included shapes like trapezoid, pentagon, hexagon, and so on. D because the shapes are labeled (hurrah for reading!). ), the puzzle pieces are thicker, and the colors are consistent. In addition, all of the shapes are basic, including OVAL-shaped. which isn't included in many other Amazon sets. There's also this: If your kids watch Busy Beavers on YouTube, you'll notice that they use this exact shapes set in one of their videos!.
When I saw the chip on the square piece while it was still wrapped in the wrapping, I was disappointed. I decided to open it up and look at all of the pieces after reading the other reviews. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, because the only chipped piece is the square, but I'm sick of getting beat up stuff. I'm keeping the puzzle because it's something I use with my special needs kids, but I'll be returning any items that aren't brand new next time.
This was purchased for my one-year-old son to learn shapes and colors. The item arrived in excellent condition and on time; it is well made, and I appreciate having some wood in my living room to counteract the plastic toys that have taken over. The board is probably too advanced for my one-year-old right now, as he prefers to throw the pieces, but I plan to reintroduce it in a few months.
This puzzle is one of my 22-month-old's favorites, and we work on it almost every day. Unlike some Melissa and Doug puzzles, this one does not appear to have any peelable paper or stickers. The shapes are simple to recognize, and the colors are vibrant, making it simple for my toddler to pick up some basic concepts while working on it. Because of this puzzle, he now knows the names of shapes. When the puzzle pieces are removed, the shapes' pictures can be seen, which makes it ideal for toddlers. A toddler can easily grasp and manipulate the chunky shapes. My little one appeared to have mastered the three-step process. We have a few 5 piece jumbo knob puzzles, so this was a great upgrade. This is suitable for children aged 18 months to three years old.
I've been on the lookout for some good toddler puzzles. I am a developmental specialist who works with special needs infants and toddlers. I look for simple puzzles with pieces that toddlers can easily grasp. Melissa has always been one of my favorite people. Doug puzzles are popular among children because they are consistently well-made and age-appropriate. I'm looking for puzzles that are durable and last a long time. They have to be able to take a beating because I throw them in bags and put them in my trunk. It's not always easy to find a simple shape puzzle that little toddlers can handle; one of the assessment instruments I use inquires about toddlers' ability to put shapes in puzzles. I'm ecstatic to have discovered it. It appears to be extremely popular among children. br>br>This shape puzzle is one of my favorites, and I've been recommending it to parents. Here are some of my favorite aspects of this puzzle and how it can be used with toddlers:
- The colors in the puzzle are vibrant. This is particularly useful for retaining the attention of young children.
- The picture beneath the puzzle piece is the same color as the shape piece when you remove it.
- Because the pieces are thick and chunky, small, uncoordinated hands can get them in and out even without the little knobs on top.
- There is no raw wood showing on the entire puzzle piece because it has been painted. br>br>I've been using it a lot lately, and the kids seem to enjoy it. I like how some of the shapes, such as the circle, are super easy to get into so that children who have a hard time with puzzles can feel accomplished.
