Questions & Answers
Yes, there is a soft seat for the baby under the bottom that is also inflatable, and it only requires a small amount of gas.
Mine did not include a canopy. If you don't have a canopy, make sure your child is protected from the sun in another way.
You most likely bought the one that didn't come with a shade.
When swimming, there is a lot of glare and sun, so this is a must. My kids will enjoy swimming more now that they have access to a canopy.

I was able to put my grandson on his back and let him float after he was involved in a car accident and suffered severe brain damage. In 5 minutes, he was fast asleep and floating around in the kiddie pool. When we first came out, he had his eyes closed, but when we added the shade, they immediately opened.
Danger! A tiny dolphin and a duck are included as free bath toys in the box with this product. The plug at the bottom of these toys, however, easily pops out (as seen in the photo). The plug can easily be popped out by a baby chewing or biting on the toy. It's clearly a choking hazard, and the company should either remove these toys from the set or replace them with one that isn't. The plug popped out while my baby was playing with it. So please exercise caution.
Because my son is disabled, I needed a float that could support his weight while also keeping his head above water. He has a weight of 40 pounds and stands at a height of 48 inches. This was a great solution. He learned to kick and splash with his legs, as well as swim with his arms. Between the legs, there is a buckle that connects to shoulder straps. It's fairly safe, but even with floats, a child must be watched at all times while in the water. I chose this particular float because of the shade coverage, and I'm glad I did. My son did not get sunburned or become nearly as heat exhausted as he usually does after two hours of splashing in the sun. It's great that it comes with its own pump and some duckies for the kids to play with. I've had it in my car for the past two months, using it once a week, and it's still inflated and hasn't busted. Even if it did deflate and no longer hold air, I feel like I got my money's worth. I tried a similar float before and my son kept flipping over upside down, which is obviously dangerous. I'm glad I have a safe place for him to play in the water this summer!.
Invest in the higher-priced items. This is a very small space. This isn't going to fit my four-month-old baby. The quality is extremely poor. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> This company bribed me to change or delete my review in order to make it appear more positive. They've offered me a refund and an extra $10 in exchange for me not saying anything about how terrible the product is. Thank you, but no thanks. My opinion is still valid. If they had simply refunded my money, things would have been different. I would have changed or deleted my review if they had excellent customer service, but nope. When I buy something, I always read reviews and expect them to be truthful.
It also protects his head if he falls into the tub. I would definitely recommend this product to parents who want to help their children become more comfortable in the water.
This gives me a sense of safety and security! The other one had too small leg holes and was tippy, whereas this one appears to be extremely comfortable and secure. It is a huge hit with him. I didn't feel compelled to keep hold of it the entire time (I was still an arm's length away, after all). He can play in the water, but the helmet keeps his head safe from the waves if the older kids get a little rowdy. He's laying on his stomach, so he kicks his little legs behind him and propels himself where he wants to go, which is pretty impressive for a baby. He even fell asleep in it because he was so relaxed! My 11-month-old is quite large and wears 2T clothing, so this would be ideal for a larger baby or toddler. I'm just kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner! The only drawback is that getting him involved is a little awkward, but it's well worth it.
When he sees me blowing it up, he gets all giddy. This is the second time we've done something similar. We bought a second one after our cat popped the first one after only two uses. We live near a river, so we used to put our baby in one of those big inner tubes with the fabric bottoms. However, as soon as he felt at ease on the river, he began leaning and climbing over the edges, which, needless to say, drove me insane with worry. After three days of shopping for floaties, I decided on this one, and it's perfect; the stabilizing pods on the back and the angle at which it holds my baby were the biggest selling points for me. I don't have to worry about him tipping over if he kicks, splashes, or thrash around. And even when he's on his stomach, he never puts his face too close to the water (I'm afraid of inhaling water). I like how he can just lie down in it when he's tired. Switching him from stomach to back is also a breeze. Also noteworthy are the three-point harness and crotch strap. The shoulder straps are made of the same material as the rest of the floatie, making them relatively soft and scratch-free. It also came with a small hand pump, which is nice but a little difficult to operate. Setting it up is a breeze. It takes me three minutes to complete. It takes 4 minutes to inflate the sun shade and attach it.
constructed It's fantastic - We live in an apartment complex with a pool, so my husband is out there with him almost every day trying to get him acclimated to the water because he's going to be surfing sooner rather than later in life, and this is the perfect toy because my son loves it and it's super easy for my husband to be in the pool with him and have fun without having to hold him, so it's a great toy and we're super happy that someone created it!.
