Questions & Answers

What can be added to this train in the way of cars and accessories?

Because my question was similar to Lionel's, I directly contacted him. What they said was as follows No individual Ready to Play cars are sold nor marketed by us. As individual pieces, you might be able to find them on the Internet, but we do not carry them. It is suggested that if you look on third party sites that you look for pieces marked as "Ready-made" You may play. In principle, you can only add more of the exact train cars that come with this Polar Express set, or you can select individual train cars from the other Lionel Ready Set trains. You can buy play The best known are the Santa Fe and Christmas Mickey Mouse sets, along with John Deere, Thomas, and John Deere In the past I have only found new or used individual cars on eBay from these sets. In addition to my Ready-to-use cartridges, I purchased additional Amazon has a straight and curved track available for play.

Would it be possible for you to turn off the sounds?

The speaker box can be accessed by disassembling the train upside down. You don't have to worry about it, everything will be all right. You will find the speaker inside of the black round piece at the front of the locomotive. Remove the black round cap piece and discard it. Flip the speaker so the holes are facing up, and then cover the entire Besides cotton balls, I also stuck some cotton balls in Tape the holes on the underside behind the spring after the train is put back together. Even though it does not solve the problem completely, it is miles better than before. As another commenter noted, cutting the speaker cord could also solve this, but my version keeps the sound but only makes it

Can you please tell me what the difference between the Ready to Play Set and the Ready and Straight Track Pack is?

There is enough track for a full circle or oval with the ready to play set. Ready and straight tracks are straight tracks that you can put on the play set to make it bigger for the train to travel on! The two tracks I purchased were so my grandsons would have a larger track to make. What an amazing train set! I love it!

What would this train set look like in a christmas village setup or is it too big to be included? In some cases, it may not look right for a train to be bigger than the houses. Are you concerned that it may be too large?

This year, we built a Christmas theme park that was based on the Polar Express. Other attractions included train rides, an Eiffel Tower 3-D experience, and the LEGO holiday train. This puzzle is in D. The K has been added Three Magical castles a ferris wheel, a park, and a ferris wheel There is also a LEGO Christmas train station and a D puzzle. In one of the drawings, Elsa's frozen castle is modeled after LEGO Elsa. This was a COVID Christmas and we did not have the whole family come over, so we could spread out on the floor in the living room.

Trains are prone to the following problems CONNECTION WITH THE TRAIN KEEPS LOSING FOR THE REMOTE
3/5

Other reviews can be found here. First, read the reviews that are negative. All the reviews were positive, so I decided to purchase it. Unfortunately, there is a common issue with this model, in which the remote presents a problem preventing the train from operating. This results in the train stopping and the sounds not being properly played. In the train price range, you can find items from $100 to $150 65 dollars. Price drops have caused me to get it at $65 after waiting for a while. This train is a nice ride, but at $100 it is not worth it. Our train was used one night, and we were delighted with its performance. The remote and TV made a great addition to our Christmas tree, and we all enjoyed watching it. It was amazing how quickly the remote connected to the train after the purchase. But twenty four hours later, the remote was disconnected. In an attempt to make sure the first battery set had just been depleted by use the previous night, I replaced it. the problem is not with the batteries, as the remote keeps disconnecting from the train, which prevents the game's computer functions from working The word 'disappointed' does not do justice to how we feel. My next step was to review the reviews for this train and discovered that this is a problem that many people have experienced. My only option would be to receive a handwritten apology from Lionel's CEO before I ever purchase another product from them. As a marketer in 2017, it is absolutely ridiculous to put a product to market and see so many consumers have problems with

Amazon is the only positive that emerged from the experience. I was pleased with the shipping, it took only two days for me to receive the item. As a result, the return process was simple, which you need when dealing with a frustrating one.

A very durable product
4/5

Put lights on the coaches and make them Here are the steps to take. Then read on! The update for 12/14/2020 is as follows The durability has been astounding. It's been a couple years since we bought it and, despite previous reviews saying otherwise, we have not experienced any serious remote disconnecting issues. explained in my original review, I got this to act as a replacement for a 6 times more expensive cousin that we were using Nonetheless, it has been helpful in its purpose. Despite all the wear and tear, nothing has broken. Despite being annoying and unreal, it still burns through batteries like there is no tomorrow in heavy use, yet it still chugs around the tree like it is It happens rarely, maybe once in a while? However, it isn't going to last very Would you mind if I took another look? It's possible they've mostly fixed this issue, or perhaps some people got bad ones? I still recommend this book, especially if you can get it at a great price. The price on Amazon was matched for us at about $50 after the price matched itself. Lighting instructions for the coaches they should glow when lights are added to them To get started, you'll need the following * * *- The foil is made from aluminum - Two to four LED wire string light sets with batteries that hold three double a batteries in each box. If you are looking for remotes or Bluetooth controls, I suggest one with a remote We will talk more about that The following steps can be followed if you have a small Phillips screw driver or even a precision one

Steps This is a. Wire string lights that are battery powered are available on Amazon. It would be better to get one that takes three double a batteries since the ones we have don't fit with the six double a battery boxes. Using two sets of string lights and two separate batteries boxes, I had no issue fitting two sets of three double-A batteries in the coach. Two of them - one on one side and one on the other side - were put on In the beginning I had one set, but it was very dark. I recommend getting two. I just picked up a set off Amazon called "MINGER 16" and I am currently testing it out. The 2 pack of 4Ft Fairy Lights operates on batteries. If you don't see it at first, you may have to enter fewer words to find it on Amazon (the Amazon listing keeps changing its name, so you may have to type in less words). controlled, so I use an app to turn them on and off when I am ready to use them so I can screw the coach back together and not waste so much electricity. They aren't necessary for you. Almost any will do you may want to look for some that have a timer. After you're done, you can leave the top of the coach unscrewed but it will remain in position as it fits into its own groove. Ideally you wouldn't need a coach unless you've got kids like I do Your coach will eventually get opened and the lights taken out a lot. 2.

To get started, you will need a precision screw driver and three screws from the bottom of the first coach. You will be able to remove the top without any problems. Ensure that the screws are kept track of. It is not uncommon for some to fall out, but others to stay in. * * 3. With the window stickers still attached, take out the red plastic piece from the window. It is important to be careful, because the stickers can come off if you are not careful. 4.

3. Aluminum foil should be laid inside the coach to keep the light from shining through anywhere besides the windows. Plastic coaches likely have no windows. You should set foil over all areas of the coach that you would not like light to reflect * *
5. Set up the battery boxes in the coach on top of the foil and set the battery powered wire led string lights in the coach. This is 6. The wire lights should be wrapped tightly around the inner poles of the coach from one end to another until all of the wire has been used. This is 7. Then, place the plastic window piece back in place after you have checked there are no wires in the way. To line up holes with poles, make sure they line up with The 8th point. Over the plastic window piece, put a piece of aluminum foil cut to size. You will need to drill holes where the poles meet at the top and at the bottom to make room. I. One. Nine. Replace the top of the car and turn on the lights. The number 10. You must repeat the process for the Now all you need to do is finish. That's good news. It's just like an o gauge set for a fraction of the cost. You can secure the screws back on now if you wish to do so. If you have children or pets that may try to get into the coaches, this may make it harder for them to turn on/off the lights when they want to replace/replace batteries but there are times when you have to do things according to your needs. I have not had problems with my top unscrewing at any speed. Keeping in mind that the red plastic of your train, if you do this to your train, allows the windows to show through red, not yellow, since the yellow sticker is just a sticker sitting on a red piece of plastic and since the plastic is red, it reflects red light. In addition, it should be noted that the shadows of the people on the stickers are hardly noticeable while the coach is glowing since it is String the lights as close to the center of the coach as possible to prevent them from illuminating too much of the windows in one particular area.
A review of It's rather annoying to be stuck on a train. This is the better version of the train we own. On a set of electric tracks there is o gauge. Since Lionel quality has been declining, I feel that there is no way to get it back. Considering this as an option this year, we wanted something quite durable to go around our tree. Compared to a real steam engine, it makes a monotonous, repetitive chuffing sound almost like a broken record. There is no variation in the chuff like with a real steam engine. The wooden train toy my son has for $20 sounds more realistic than this. What makes it worse is that you can't change the sound, lower the volume, or turn off the chuff. Our more expensive set lets you turn off the chuff (which is just about as annoying as the one in that set). It appears they left it out unnecessarily for the sake of cost-cutting. As well, this thing eats up the C Buying 50 packs for all the kids who like to watch the train go round and round would probably make sense if you have kids who love it. Over the course of two days, 6 were utilized. As one of the things I miss from our more expensive set is the glowing coaches. So I fitted lights to the coaches. easy to do, as you can see from top of the review that instructions on how to do so are provided. In addition to that, I think it's probably worth the cost. I actually changed my rating by one star because I paid $68 originally, and I didn't think that was fare for the product. I called Amazon after the price dropped to $50 and they price matched it for me and refunded the difference, due to Amazon customer service's outstanding customer service. It is more justified to charge $50 for the train and therefore I am rating it higher. Those are the prices I would not pay much more than, and if it is over that when you're reading this review I might wait if you can to see if it will drop in the future. Save it to your cart and you'll be able to access it In a little note at the top of your cart, Amazon lets you know if the price changes. In terms of overall gameplay, I really wish Lionel would ditch the annoying chuf and get something that is a bit You should always be able to turn off the notification. It meets our needs and my kids love it, so we have been relatively satisfied with it.

It is a good RC train that is easy to use and has a lot This is the perfect starter for young children
4/5

I have a 5 year old son with autism who is train crazy. It has been very difficult for us to train him how to use the toilet, so I wanted to get him something nice for completing the task. Despite it being summer, I knew he would love this train (even if it is in the middle of July). A great RC starter train! This train is a GREAT RC starter train! I love the quality and detail you get for such a low price. The remote is very intuitive and easy to use, which is great for my son who gets easily frustrated in the past. G scale trains usually derail easily so this is a welcomed change. This railroad has cars that are easy to couple and remain coupled as well as easy to put on the track. It comes with a lot of track to make a huge setup. This train is surprisingly fast when running at full speed. The variety of sounds and voices are clear and pretty high quality for the price. You can set the speed of the train and it will move forward, backward, or in reverse. Also, it has a whistle, bell, It is also notable how long the battery lasts. He then got a similar Lionel train with the exact same remote control from his grandparents a few weeks later. I really like the fact that any remote can be used for any train without pairing problems and they can both be used at the same time without interfering with each other. The set comes with a large shiny metal Santa bell that adds a nice touch to the package. There are only two things I dislike about this train you have to switch both the train and remote on and off after use, and it does not turn off automatically after a long time. When my son is playing with the remote it is really easy to forget to turn it off and if you don't turn it off the red light will begin to blink and the batteries will run out very Additionally, when you turn on the train before turning on the remote, the train starts making a really loud beeping noise while it's looking for a remote to pair with. The beeping sound is actually one of my son's favorites and he makes it on purpose sometimes. Haha, I can't stand it. Despite all that, this is a great set for a reasonable price and would make a wonderful addition to a Christmas tree or just plain train fun at any time of the Neither annoying music nor Christmas songs are played. Short message it has had a huge impact on our family and I can highly recommend it. This product was not given to me free of charge This should be of some help!.
