Two AG13 (LR44) Button Cell batteries are required for this Thomas train.
Sure thing! I bought this one and another, in which Thomas is pulling a two or three-layer round, yellow birthday cake, and used them as toppers. The cake was rectangular, so we used icing to draw two tracks that eventually merged into one near the front end, and then placed each train on its own track, closer to the point where the two intersected. It looked incredible, and they'll make fantastic toys as a result of the ride's sound.
For a cake, it's probably quite large.
I suppose you could cover it with a sticker. The 1 stands for Thomas' Engine Number, which is "1."

Excellent value for money. This is a lovely set. It turns on and starts playing music. For a birthday cake, this recipe is ideal.
This train is the size of a matchbox, so if you want a bigger train, you'll have to look elsewhere. Please pay attention to what you're getting. This was a gift for my grandson's first birthday because he enjoys watching Thomas on television. So I decided to get him a train, assuming it would be bigger than it is. It begins to play the theme song, which he enjoys. So, all in all, it went well.
It was the ideal size and a unique way to spice up my son's birthday cake! He also enjoyed having another train to add to his collection. When you press the button, it also plays the Thomas theme song. Perhaps the train was more appealing to him than the cake itself!.
It's enjoyable to listen to music. It worked perfectly as a cake topper, and my son couldn't wait to use it.
For my son's third birthday party, I used it as part of the cake table display. It has been used on a regular basis since then.
This was placed on my son's birthday cake, and he preferred it to the cake itself. The music it plays (the Thomas theme) is one of his favorites. It was well worth the money.
My son was obsessed with Thomas and Friends, so I and the misses used this as his cake topper for his birthday. He was delighted to see the cake and even more so to see a Thomas toy on it, but he went insane when I pressed the toy's theme song button. This review is a little late because he will be five years old this year, but he still enjoys the toy and the song continues to play.
