It is true that most wooden train sets (Melissa and Doug, Kidkraft, Thomas Wooden Railway, Brio) are all made on the same gauge, which means tracks are compatible with each other. It is the design on the tracks as well as the durability of the wood that changes from brand to brand.
The set does not contain any. However, starting off with it would be a great way to make a great addition.
The answer is yes. There are several Brio sets that my grandson has, and all the tracks are interconnected.
If it fits comfortably on a 3 X 3 table, that would be ideal

This set left me a little disappointed. The reason I dislike the dump trucks is primarily because of their size. There is a plastic latch mechanism on the dumper that is attached with I broke the dumper after just a few days of minimal use. There was no way to keep it on after it was turned off. I found it surprising that Brio's prices were so low. It was a nice day, not the most action packed, but the best part was the diesel train. Despite being plastic most of the time, the bridge sections are so much fun. In addition to the road pieces, there are good ones. Not too happy with the cargo car. Roads are quite nice, but cargo car quality is not very good. To make the train car look like a hopper car, a piece of plastic is added under the rock cargo. This seemed to be an easy and cost-effective solution. The dump truck from the set is broken, so I have to return the whole set to get the new one. This is not an item I will be getting The dump trucks don't seem to be able to withstand great forces. The little one would rather have a cargo boat playset, at least. That should be a good start.
In the same way as most Brio items, this is a fairly durable and solid piece. There are no assembly instructions on the website. I am not certain if we missed them. A little annoying, but not a deal breaker, was the fact that I had to Google the set and copy it manually. One of the main issues is that my 3 year old is very fond of building very long trains, so going up and down the elevated tracks has been a problem. On either the uphill or downhill portions of the train, there is often a tendency for train cars to end up falling off. Then we had to figure out exactly how to apply the train cars to handle the incline on the downhill. That doesn't seem like a bad thing to me, but I cannot tell for sure.
I received a box that was missing parts, not inside another box so it was pretty torn and taped up when I received it. The latest update. This Brio set has been on my mind for a while. In an email communication with Amazon about a return, they told me to contact BRIO instead. The people at BRIO were very very helpful in replying to my email. There was a problem with the set and all the pieces were missing, so I explained what was happening. It was easy to prove to them that I was serious about this box. As soon as they received my grandson's new set, the company sent it to him immediately. I will always buy BRIO for my grandchildren. I am very pleased with the.
My grandson got this set for his birthday. Amazon had a lower price than eBay. Another set of Brio tracks was purchased off of Facebook's market place. There's little chance of the tracks fitting together easily, so be careful. It seems that the "rock" pillars of this set don't adequately support the tracks in this set. I believe it is more frustrating for the adults than for the kids.
It is a good product. I found a picture on the internet that shows how it goes together, and at first I thought there were pieces It's nice to have as a standalone, but the little trains are just too small for the fun stuff grandkids like to do. The turns at the bottom of the ramp are short. The bridges and the ramp are also short. A support column can be temperamental (unless it is glued at the That is a really cute.
I am sure he will enjoy manipulating both of them. The Brio team did a fantastic job putting everything together and making it work. Keeping the crane car from tipping over is required when lifting the loads, as it does want to slip off the overpass, but it should be relatively straightforward, as you must hold the car while turning the crank to lift the crane. The Brio Expansion Set, Intermediate allowed us to create an outside loop around a majority of the loading set using its outside loop feature. With the expansion set relatively in affordable, it makes a nice complement to this game.
It was a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was comfortable and a perfect fit. It was in my household that I was raised to love Brio trains, and I think the brand is fantastic. There are some pieces that are a bit tricky to maneuver(the lifting mechanisms, the sloped tracks) however, it is a chance for us to play with our son, and to get him practicing his hand-eye pleased with the result.
