Questions & Answers
The Ikea tracks as well as the Thomas tracks are here (but without the viaduct). There is a little force involved to make them fit together, but you can make it work.
Despite the battery-powered trains going up and over the viaduct, we had no trouble.
Though we do not carry that brand, we have learned that the wooden trains will work with most of these pieces.
Wood is used to connect the connectors.

My excitement at finding what appears to be an excellent and stable design comes after reading about so many bridges that collapse and cause children to become frustrated. It's simple, but you can't put it together without help. It comes in three pieces a two year old can easily assemble them. There are multiple 'tunnel' passages under the bridge that allow for many different layout ideas. Unlike the photo, which shows a bridge with multiple colors on the side, we received a bridge with only green on the side. We do not have a problem with this My favorite part of it is actually the ending. Although some reviewers complained that the trains don't fit underneath, our Thomas engine fit fine. (I have seen a taller version of the Thomas engine, so I think that's the problem in those reviews. ) Because I purchased the original pieces of our set from a local used toy shop, I'm not concerned with Although $40 seemed a bit steep for this piece, it seemed a worthy splurge as we were adding a 'new' item to our set. If I want to pay that much, I would expect a quality item in brand new Unfortunately, it was shabby and unattractive. It looked like something a local used store would reject or throw out after looking at it. One of the pieces had a huge crack running lengthwise through the entirety of it, and another large chunk of wood had been broken off, and had been tacked back on sloppily. The pieces remain flexible even when you squeeze them hard. Even with hardened glue on them, when they are lifted to the light, the light shines through. The gap between the two images progressively narrows when squeezed (See the photos). In addition to darkening the wood, the glue has also weakened the joint. It is not going to last much longer even if it is moderately used. Maybe we can do it again, but I think this is a bit It is not unusual for something to pass through quality control inspections accidentally, but replacing a broken toy with a repaired one and describing it as 'new' is not acceptable. I guess. Words are not enough to express how I feel. The package was opened in the evening near firelight, and it was not noticed until at the next day that mending had occurred, when the packing materials had been disposed. I would not return this, as it would be a hassle, and I would be sending money to a very shady business, as they would likely send it to someone else who might be interested in buying it. There is no doubt this company is trustworthy, and if they have any integrity at all, they'll send a replacement. It is hoped that they will learn from this and improve their business practices to win back consumers' trust. As soon as their response is available, I will let you know. It was a gift I gave to my four-year-old The year is I have a son who is old. I was looking for simple items to expand on his current train set for my husband who is a huge train fan. It is so nice to have wood railings since they are so They don't even dent at all even though he throws them and stomps them constantly. The trains he owns come in many shapes and sizes and he loves to play with them as much as he can. Added to that, he pretends earthquakes occur and he pushes the cards off the table right away. It looks like vines and has nice designs. Using this bridge can be combined with any of the wooden tracks in his collection. Several brands that we use fit it, and it works with all of them. There is plenty of room under all of his trains so that he can see clearly. The product is great, and I would highly recommend it to everyone who builds.
We love this bridge because our grandsons love it so much. This bridge looks like the one in Pennsylvania, south of Harrisburg where the boys often cross. Brio tracks can easily be linked to it. As opposed to some other bridges, it can't easily fall over. Their favorite thing to do is run over and over and over again I promise you there's nothing under that.
The second of my two. The bridge is one of the most favorite spots for my 5-year old son. With the set, he has wooden tracks and a wooden bridge, and while he plays he always seems to knock them down. He is very frustrated with that since he's only 2 years old. I love it. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful this bridge is to coordinate with his wooden train set, and the best part is it does not tumble over when he bumps into it like the other one. There's no doubt about its durability and strength and toddlers will have no problem with it! As a result, he doesn't have to be frustrated as much as before. I am a happy mama because my boy is happy!.
There are others, but this one stands out. Despite its simplicity, it is highly durable (our 10-year-old decided to stand on top of it for some reason) it matches all of the other wooden tracks we have, from Thomas to store-brand, and will work with our.
There's a nice bridge/overpass system in this set of wooden rails that my kids liked incorporating into their collection. My order arrived in good condition, with no problems, and it has remained intact. There is more light in the wood- Although I am a bit heavier than I expected, otherwise everything is as I expected it to be. My recommendation for this item is to buy it.
This is not a match made in heaven. The bridge set I received is not in line with the reviews so I must have just been very unlucky. As it is, the right side of the arch is about a quarter inch shorter than the left. It is difficult to fathom how it could be so 'off' that it is It seems quality control has failed. The situation is exacerbated by the fact that the order was placed in the USA but transported with a friend on a friend's personal vehicle to my current location abroad, making it impossible for me to return and exchange.
I would highly recommend this to anyone with an existing train set. It adds some excitement to any kid's train track play and allows for an easy bridge set up without having to worry about wobbly supports falling down. A bridge/viaduct is comprised of three sections, two ramps doing ups and downs, and a center section. Trains can travel over the system all day long because it is very stable. Here is the bridge you should get, if you are looking for one. On both sides of the bridge, the bridge is neatly painted. It comes in two different patterns, grey and yellow brick with green vines, or brown brick and green It's easy for Thomas Trains to fit beneath the four central arches on train tracks with ease, but the outer two arches are shorter, and we weren't able to get trains under them. However, they are perfect for a matchbox car with a low profile.
