Questions & Answers

I would like to know how well the little wooden train sets hold up in general What are the chances of getting up after being crashed several times? My sincere thanks go to you! ?

In 1985, we bought our 3B track and a few train cars from Brio, and have steadily added to this collection since then. Only one plastic wheel has broken off of 1 battery operated engine in these 34 years, but everything else still works perfectly decades later after raising two children and having three You can see a picture of a collapsing bridge in response to Having a good time is always a pleasure! We are still getting great use out of the Brio set.

Do you think this will work for Thomas ?

It is possible to connect the vast majority of wooden train sets.

Are the tracks compatible with the Ikea ones?

I can't say exactly how to make it work, but you can do it. There is a slight difference between the track connectors on Ikea and Brio (and just about everyone else). If you put a little effort into it, you can get them to do it This is what we do here, but a young child will have a difficult time with it.

Is there room under the bridge for a Thomas train?

You are right. The Thomas train fits underneath the bridge, and I have the bridge and the Thomas train. The tallest people will probably not be able to fit in.

A well-made product, but the ramps at the bottom take up a lot of space once they are added
4/5

This is an interesting The length of this ramp, though, means it cannot be fitted on the table in any direction or in any place once the ramp is in place on both sides. This will not fit kidcraft since it is narrower. When you add on the curves to get the track to turn, then it ends up taking up an enormous amount of room. The curves won't even show up for quite a while before you get the chance to add them. It's not at all obvious to me either why the brown upper level tracks flip down to the side. In my mind, it would seem that they were clearing space for a taller train to come under the bridge as the perpendicular bottom tracks would suggest. However, the bottom tracks end up blocked in as well, and while the top tracks are down nothing crosses the top. I think the quality is really good, and the construction is superb. In case you want to build lots of train interchanges and elaborate designs, you probably wouldn't want to use the bridge for tables that are 3 ft wide and 4 ft long. In addition, a simple round track with a bridge in the middle would be ideal for those just learning to build tracks - It might be possible to put it on a bigger table or even the floor, I assume.

It's an easily collapsible mechanical bridge that my grandsons love
5/5

I am a mom to a 5 yr old girl. It's fun to watch this falling bridge with 75-year-old grandsons. This button press is easily collapsible for fingers of little ones to push (totally mechanical design). The other day they dispatched a firetruck, a police car, and a police car. A team of rescue workers was deployed to the collapse site. It cannot be used as a stand-alone unit, it needs to be connected to other sets to complete the.

There is no other train accessory like this for children! There is no way I could have imagined this bridge to be so sturdy
5/5

So far, they have put quite a bit of pressure on it from age 4 and 3 years old, but so far they have held up well. I have pushed the button and reconnected the bridge countless times, my toddler has tossed it roughly into the basket of tracks, she even made the mistake of trying to walk across it like a balance beam before I caught The damage was not done! The track extension is the piece of train equipment that our 4-year-old son will use the most in his train track of all the accessories we bought him for his birthday. This book is highly recommended!.

We are very happy to have been able to purchase a new bicycle for our 3 year old
5/5

It was actually the first thing he picked when I showed it to him. Our 3 year old received the same brand we purchased for him two years ago and we are very pleased with it. It was the one he chose when I showed him different bridges over railroad tracks. Various train types can fit beneath the bridge since it is tall enough to accommodate trains with big wheels. a single push of a button, it splits open (collapses). It is very easy for someone who is 3 to put the parts Toy construction guys (minifigures) are his favorite toy. They pretend the bridge collapses and send a construction guy I find it to be pretty sturdy even for little rough These rails do fit IKEA and Thomas the Train wooden rails (as do many other rails on the market) as it is provided with two wooden rails on each side. The bulky item looks pretty bulky on a train table, but it gives the train set an attractive look. It seems like the toy will last for quite a while, as my three-year-old really enjoys playing with it.

In addition to being solid, the bridge works perfectly according to the advertisement
5/5

The quality of the product is excellent. In addition to being solid, the bridge works perfectly according to the advertisement. Though I was a bit worried about how flimsy/loose/durable the moving parts would be, I'm pleased with the quality of the product. There is no question that this has exceeded In addition, my son, who is 3 years old, enjoys waiting for the motorized train to come along so he can wreck it. After he makes a fool of himself, he gets the train back on This is a great toy for kids aged 3 years and older! The addition of this set to any train collection is highly recommended.

It's a blast to watch trains get demolished
5/5

His grandsons need to have this piece in every train layout they build. He looked like he was happy as they tumbled through the air and crashed into the ground. I am not quite sure what those trains did to him or if we should be concerned at his expression of joy upon their untimely demise. Three-year-olds have a natural desire to destroy everything in sight, as is evident in their behavior. The simple mechanism is easy for little hands to work and keeps his sister's Littlest Pet Shop setup intact.

The kid is 18 months old
5/5

It keeps him entertained for hours. It takes him approximately one hour to play with the bridge and trains. The only thing he needs to do is push the button himself to reset the bridge. I always keep an eye on him and he loves his time at the beach. I appreciate the fact that my old brio set will work with the new bridge and old train set.

This bridge is a must if your train set is played with by little boys! The two little nephews who play with the Brio wooden train set I have are big fans of this collapsing bridge
5/5

As soon as I saw it, I knew they would love it. It was nothing big to me, but I told them I bought a new bridge for the train set. tracks under the bridge are accessible to trains, and the bridge is used for trains. As you may have guessed, they didn't take long to figure out the little red button and what it did to the bridge when they pressed A few hours before I built the "4-by-4" I had also bought several packs of the red stacking supports, and built a pretty elaborate "4" Interchange on the level of the two parties. My father thought the bridge was interesting, but all the boys wanted to do was erect train wrecks with it. I guess it's just a matter of time before they start acting like.
