Neither the load nor the lift will be successful. It was recently purchased as a gift for our great grandson who is 3 1/2 years old. As part of our previous purchase, we purchased a crane wagon set that has a magnet on the bottom of the crane that can lift stones. Because the magnets in the lumber are so deep and/or the lumber so heavy, they cannot be picked up by the magnet in the crane wagon. Unfortunately this pairing failed to live up to expectations. Do you believe that we were wrong to think they would not work well together? It didn't seem likely to us. The item should not be purchased with the crane wagon set because it will not function properly. It was a disappointment.
A purchase I made for my grandson to go with his birthday present Set of wooden railroad tracks that keeps growing. Brio is known for its excellent quality, and this is no exception. There are two sets of wheels on this vehicle. The wheels are connected with a hook in the middle, so it can go around curves better than some long cars. My goal was to purchase this to go with the Sodor Lumber Company building, which I purchased used but without a car and without I found it to be a perfect fit You can even pick them up with your cranes by using the little magnets embedded in the logs. The car works with all of them, as he has pieces from all of the major brands. The best purchase I have ever made!.
The hit of the season! It is my pleasure to offer my oldest grandson and now my youngest the Brio brand. I am fascinated with the quality, selection, and opportunities to engage in imaginative play that it provides. Adding a Lumber Loading Wagon to your fleet is a great idea. As the logs are magnetized, they hold together with the crane, and in addition, they are fun to play with - all thanks to the magnet on top. The wagon my Grandson uses to load logs is his absolute favorite. That way, it is a perfect fit.
For our grandson, we bought many Brio pieces and sets, as well as train sets. It has given him endless hours of enjoyment to play with the track and His immediate reaction after opening the Lumber Loading Wagon was to thank us and he promptly had Mommy call as soon as he opened the package. His ability to spend a great deal of time with His Lumber Car is incredible. This building has been built well and is attractive as well.
Little lumber carriers are a big hit with my toddler. Although I think that it is a pretty cool design, the three free-style options are annoying I do find floating lumber pieces a little frustrating (since they all seem to get swept away by Logs have little magnets embedded in them that appear to allow them to be used with Brio cranes (we don't have one so don't necessarily take my word for it) and stack nicely in the carrier so they should stay put unless you have a mischievous child.
While it is a nice train, if your child is under age 3 you might want to pass. The little wood logs will end up getting lost in the trailer, probably within an hour of opening, simply because the little guy will not keep them in there. A piece of green plastic with wheels becomes just a green piece of plastic without any logs. Another train may be more convenient.
This was a gift that I bought for my nephew. Originally we didn't know that there were magnets in each log so they could be hoisted up in the train station chair he received as well, so that was a very neat surprise.
A big thank you went out to him for receiving it, and he was elated It is obvious that he fits right into his train of thought. It's time to plan your yard!.
