As an early childhood educator and grandmother, I was looking for an alphabet puzzle that my two-year-old grandson could easily grasp. In more ways than one, this puzzle suited my needs. Instead of a square block, each letter hole is the same shape as the letter, which is exactly what I was looking for. Letter recognition relies on this tactile detail. Each piece also rises about 1/2" above the ground, making it easier for his hands to grasp. The magnets are the cherry on top, keeping the pieces in place while they are being stored.
Because the puzzle lacked the letter W, I couldn't allow him to do so. I saw other posts where people said they got a puzzle with missing letter(s), but I hoped this wasn't the case. I've asked for a replacement and will update my review as soon as it arrives.
For my almost-2-year-old daughter, I adore this item. year- old. The magnets stick well but are also easy to remove the letter from the board; the only complaint is that toddlers lose things, so if replacement letters were an option, that would be fantastic!.
The magnetic feature is fantastic! It's simple to store the pieces because they won't fall out. My three-year-old son adores this board because the colors are vibrant and the letters are easy to grasp.
My 1. This is something that my 5-year-old son enjoys. Beautiful quality, and the magnet in each letter is strong enough to keep it together while still allowing him to easily remove each letter from its designated location. Round corners with a smooth finish It's a great way to work on fine motor skills, and it's perfect for Montessori.
The letters are brightly colored and have smooth edges. When my grandchildren visit, they enjoy working on this puzzle. It is difficult for them, and they learn both the alphabet and colors. Thank you, Driddle, for producing such an excellent product.
My three-year-old niece loved it; the only minor criticism is that the magnets could be a little stronger.
