To begin, I must say that I am a huge fan of Melissa and Doug toys. Typically, they are of high quality, and I admire their creativity. free of noise- They have a lot of technology-free toys. I am a teacher and the mother of three young children, and I am picky about the toys I buy for them. This was purchased as a unique gift for my two preschool-aged children. While I fed their new baby sister, I entertained the children of their age group. I should have returned it when we first opened it; we had only used it for about 15 minutes or so when I noticed that pieces were already peeling. I was a little let down. Toys were put in storage for a move and then returned, so they were only used a few times. The white board insert bends today, making it difficult to insert the pictures, the pieces are peeling, and the magnets are weak, as we discovered when we used it today. Because of the magnet pieces, I chose this item over others. so that the children did not become frustrated if the pieces moved while they were working They barely magnet when used with the picture cards. It helps a little, but the cheap peeling pieces aren't worth it. My kids aren't rough with it at all, and they shouldn't be peeling as much as they are. It's not a long-lasting toy, and I wouldn't buy it again. Instead of a sticker, I'd look for magnet pieces made of wood on a magnet from a different brand. Alternatively, I'd forego the magnet and opt for a high-quality wood set instead. It was a valuable lesson - Don't put your faith in a product just because it's a well-known brand.

They liked the puzzles and the ability to make their own designs. The colorful magnets are effective, and all of the pieces fit neatly into the box. There are a variety of magnetic shapes to choose from, as well as two-dimensional magnetic shapes. Children will have hours of fun with these double-sided pattern boards. The pattern boards are secured to the top of the box by sliding into a grooved guide. This toy is easily portable and can be used in the car or at home because it comes with its own carrying case. Your child will have a lot of fun thinking and making things. I appreciate the fact that this toy isn't just for fun.

This year's "family gift" for our kids was fantastic. Our 9-year-old daughter enjoys using this to make her own designs. Each tile is meticulously placed by our 4y; This helps our three-year-old develop fine motor skills while also reinforcing numbers, colors, and shapes. Our 18-month-old loves throwing the numerous small pieces around the room: ) The board design is fantastic, and the vinyl carrying case is quite sturdy. There's a slot at the top for the design card, and the tiles are magnetic (so they don't fall out if baby brother bumps your elbow!). This is an incredible journey. This is a great trip item for our kids, but it's also great for relaxing at home.

The transition from board puzzles to this one is much smaller than, say, a card puzzle. Looking at a small card and then attempting to recreate the image on a larger board is a lot more difficult than simply placing the magnetic pieces in the appropriate spots on the card.

I like that they're magnetic, color-coded to match the typical pattern blocks you'd see in school, and there are a lot of them. I wish the magnets were a little more powerful because they easily slip and fall off. The pattern cards are a nice bonus, but it would be nice to have some without the lines or colors to make filling in the shape more difficult.

This is an excellent present for children under the age of three (3). Mine enjoys playing with these when they are in close proximity to the refrigerator, which can be a problem. When we try to get them to eat and all they want to do is play with these, it's especially frustrating. I can see my children's mental growth as they use these magnetic blocks to create various pictures and scenes. The patterns included in the set are quite appealing to me. My children were unsure of what to do at first, so the patterns aided them in getting started. They've grown tired of the patterns and are now creating their own. This is a set that is well worth the investment. Coming from a scrooge, this is a bargain.

A wonderful present for my soon-to-be three-year-old daughter and for my two-year-old son. My nephew is five years old. It varies in difficulty depending on whether the child covers the printed designs with magnet shapes, examines the design and then attempts to copy it on the blank board, or creates their own designs. It comes in a handy pouch, so it's easy to carry around and less likely to get lost. The magnets are just the right size to be easily grasped and moved by small hands, but not so small that they fall off the board.

I love Melissa and Doug magnets, but we've had a few that weren't well packaged, and we've had to store them in various containers (the wooden boxes don't come with lids), so I'm glad these are in a bag that will last and I won't have to find another way to store them. I would definitely recommend it as a way to keep kids occupied and entertained!.
