In addition, the old plastic letters would fall off the refrigerator, and the small magnets would fall out of the backs of the letters. I got lucky and found a low-cost foam set of numbers for my grandson's Christmas present. I expected the foam magnets to be less durable than the plastic magnets, but I decided to give them a shot anyway. I was taken aback, and my four-year-old grandson has been learning to count in no time. His numbers are familiar to you. The Chuchik alphabet set was a huge thrill for me. My grandson and I were both excited to inspect it when it arrived the day after we ordered it. We put a set of uppercase and lowercase letters on the fridge right away. I keep these two sets on the fridge at all times, and we stop to go over the alphabet whenever we pass by. He's eager to use the dry erase board and markers, but I told him he'd have to wait until he can recognize the letters. He adores it, and Grandma thinks it has a lot of potential and was a great find! By the way, there was a card inside the set that directed me to Chuchik's Facebook page, where I could sign up for a free gift. My complimentary item arrived one week after I made my initial purchase. That was also a big hit with my grandson. I'll look for other Chuchik toys on the internet as well. It's a fantastic deal!.
These magnets are extremely popular among the students. The vowels are red and the consonants are blue. Each student will have their own alphabet set because there are enough copies of each letter. For demonstrations, the students use metal cookie sheets, while I use a whiteboard trifold. For word work, I also use the Word Ladder book, which I purchased on Amazon. The magnets are well held by the trifold. The only suggestion I would make is to use a clip to hold the trifold together at the bottom, as the magnet on the bottom is quite weak when moving around on my table. Any teacher or paraeducator would benefit from this trifold magnetic whiteboard.
We just received it yesterday, and my son appears to enjoy it. br>br>I'm hoping it'll be just the thing he needs to get his reading and writing back on track. br>br>I like how everything is so well-organized when it arrives. It makes it very simple to pick up and use.
For a magnetic letter set, it's nicely packaged and comes with a lot of "extras. " The letter was used by my preschooler, and his 2-year-old sister enjoys the picture magnets. Would be a great addition to a stay-at-home preschooler's library or as an educational gift.
I bought the 2-pack of magnetic letters for my preschool son to play with. Chuchik has a color set. Each letter is represented by two upper case and six lower case magnets, as well as some adorable magnets that represent simple words. Overall, we like it a lot and have a lot of fun with it! The pieces are well-made and simple to work with. The only complaint is that some (very minor) dry erase marker ink remains on the magnetic board, which Chuchik suggested cleaning with a damp towel after contacting them via the company's Facebook page. I appreciate their communication, even though I have not tried the method. The set is highly recommended for children who are just beginning to learn the alphabet.
The letters are made and shaped in a way that I like. except for the letter t, which is written in lowercase. It has a "hook" on it, which we don't use when teaching young students to recognize and write their letters. In addition, while the lowercase t's straight line is a "tall" letter, this set depicts it as being as short as a lowercase a. Now that I have a better look at the letters, I realize I won't be able to return? It was only a few hours ago that I received it. It's a huge pain. I should have double-checked that it was a prime item rather than just prime shipping.
It's exactly how it appears in the photos! It's a hit with the kids, and it's a great way for me to improve their reading and spelling skills. My four-year-olds are reading, and we used it to teach them about the silent "e. " Our third attempt at teaching this concept was with magnetic letters, and they immediately grasped it and got involved in adding the e to a three-letter word to make a long vowel sound! It's an excellent tool for teaching!.
This is something that 12 really enjoys doing. They enjoy pretending to be in school, and this is a fantastic addition. I like how each letter is represented by multiples in both upper and lower case. Any child who enjoys drawing on a dry erase board quickly began labeling their creations with the letters. I plan to use it in my preschool classroom as well because of the high quality. There was also a small piece of paper in the box advertising a free toy. Following the company's instructions, I received a free fidget cube. I didn't even have to pay for my purchases.
