Turn them over, really.

Yes, but it's made of a very durable plastic. The letters and numbers are nice, and the storage box is adequate but a little tight. It's a great deal.
They're quite sturdy, and the few I took out of the box had a strong magnetic force, so I imagine they'd work well on a refrigerator. They do, however, have a foam cover, and in a kitchen, there is a certain amount of grease in the air, among other things. They'd be difficult to clean, as a result. Cleaning these magnets is more difficult than cleaning the plastic-covered magnets. Because of the strong odor, I had to return mine.

First and foremost, this thing is jam-packed with letters and magnets. The container is extremely useful because it has separate slots for each letter in which you can place all of the different capitals and lower cases for each letter. They are also available in a variety of colors for each letter. A fire truck and a Christmas tree are among the other cute little magnets. br>br>However, the quality of the material used in these letters is questionable. They're primarily made of a foam-like substance. Bath letters that stick to the bathtub wall are made of this type of material. Each letter has a magnet on the back, which is convenient because the magnet will lay flat on whatever surface you stick it to. The circular magnet on the back of the very thin picture appears to be glued or attached to the additional magnets, such as the firetruck and Christmas tree. The magnets can all be bent easily. One of them was chewed on by my 18-month-old son, and there are now teeth marks on it. They're big enough that I don't have to worry about them choking me, which is a big plus.
The alphabet magnets are sturdy and come with a lot of pieces, which is great, but when I first opened the package, they were a little scattered from their alphabetically proper places, which was no big deal because it was fun for me to reorganize them and see if all of the pieces were included. When I got to the section with the letter O's, I noticed a strange familiar stain on one of the lower case O's. And, as a woman, I KNEW where that colored stain came from. I went to my house to get a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and dipped the letter O piece in it, hoping that my suspicions were incorrect. The next thing I knew, the stain on the letter piece had turned into foaming bubbles, indicating that there was blood on the letter magnet. I was extremely disappointed that whoever was in charge of this specific item at the manufacturer's facility allowed this to happen. It was also a blessing that I caught this before allowing my toddler to get his hands on it, because my toddler has a habit of putting things in his mouth that appear to be toys. To whom it may concern, please take this review as a warning and double-check the cleanliness of this product before giving it to your own children or anyone else's children.
If the letters weren't so filthy, I would have given it five stars. It appears that the fronts of the letters are stained by the magnet back. I also don't like how there isn't enough room to separate the letters and numbers. I appreciate the addition of bonus flash cards with letters and images.
The $30 price tag is excessive given the poor quality of the magnets, the plastic case, and the other magnets. For a set like this, it should cost a lot less. I was dissatisfied with the item after paying such a high price for it. The cards that come with it are just laminated paper quality, not even made of card board, and the colors of the alphabet vary, leaving my toddler perplexed when she looks at the card, thinking the letters must match colors when the alphabets are all different colors. I realized that keeping the letters 1 and 2 would be a better set. Only use two colors and make the cards match so toddlers can concentrate on the letters rather than the letter's color.
This product allows my Kindergarten students to practice making sight words, creating sentences, sounding out words and then using the letters to spell the words, and learning the difference between capital and lowercase letters. On the refrigerator, I scramble three sight words, then ask my 5-year-old to unscramble the letters and form the sight words. After that, I ask him to count to 20 using the numbers. We count by fives and tens the following day. The next day, we play a learning game called "Find all the Vowels and Constants. " It is advantageous for him to be familiar with the terms every- when he goes to the fridge or when he is not at home It's also through repetition that he'll improve his reading skills. I also like the clear suitcase it comes in, which will make it easier for us to transport the item without losing all of the letters. It also includes a white board for writing, as well as colorful letters and numbers, magnets, a dry erase marker, and an eraser. Because this is a non-refundable item, read the reviews and description carefully before purchasing.
As described, this is an excellent product. With a strong magnetic backing, soft foam letters and numbers can be used. Moving around is simple for children. It came with a board that had a few scratches and dents on it, but other than that, it's perfect. The carrying case is ideal, though it could be a little larger; you must arrange the letters in a specific order to ensure that they fit and the lid closes properly.
These haven't convinced me yet. They're made of foam, and my children (ages 1 and 3) discovered that they could easily bend them. It has a full magnetic back, which is nice, and there are a lot of letters, which is cool, but almost too many, because they end up all over the place! It's probably more appropriate for older children. There is a nice box for them to be organized in, but that is not the case with my children. I don't think they'll last until my children are old enough to use the entire supply. Many, I imagine, will be destroyed in a short period of time; however, I have two young boys, so anything can happen! I'm not sorry I bought them, but I'm not sure I'd recommend them to children my age. For kids in elementary school, this could be a fun activity.
br>My favorite feature is the storage container, which holds the entire alphabet (arranged alphabetically), as well as numbers and symbols. br>My granddaughter's favorite item is a white dry eraser magnetic board on which she enjoys drawing and spelling. With the magnetic alphabet, learning is a lot of fun.
