Questions & Answers
It would be simple to trace the letters and numbers. They're made of foam, but they're stiff, and the magnet is on the entire back, rather than just a piece on each side; they're great, and they come with a great case.
The easel can be wiped down with a damp cloth. This set appealed to me because it includes magnets on the entire back of the letters, rather than just small pieces that can fall out and become lost, and the box in which the letters are stored is excellent. It's clearly labeled, making it simple for your toddler to recognize and place the letters in the appropriate locations.
The uppercase letters are about 2 inches long, and the lowercase letters are one inch long. I've attached photos to my original review so you can see them.
They're both doing it.

The colorful, well-made letters and numbers will entice them to learn. The back magnetic strip isn't too bulky, and it can be wiped clean if sticky little fingers get on it. They stick well to the magnetic board and don't fall off when turned upside down, allowing your child to carry the board around the house without losing the letters or numbers. The storage case is labeled for easy letter storage, allowing your child to take care of each letter independently. What a fantastic addition to a child's developmental learning toolkit!.
She's having a lot of fun learning how to write words and practicing letter sounds. We like that it includes two markers and an eraser so she can practice writing the letters independently. I also like how the letters have individual compartments for organization and how many of each letter are included. This is a fantastic educational toy and/or gift! Enjoy the video of us attempting to pronounce the various letters she created! 😂.
I'm really glad I bought these. There are enough letters in each letter (capitals and lower case) to write a complete message. The magnets are strong enough to keep the board in place, but not so strong that a toddler can't remove or adjust them. I like how the magnet extends all the way around the back of the letter or number. Unlike the ones we had as kids, this helps keep the magnets from being a joking hazard. The variety of colors is also fantastic. Another advantage is that each letter is kept in its own labeled compartment in a sturdy plastic case. All of the numbers, punctuation, erasers, and markers are grouped together in one large slot. For me, it's not a significant issue. This is an excellent purchase.
My 2" is a little too small. I'll be supervising because he's 5 years old and has already tried to chew one. These will be ideal for him in another year, but I decided to purchase them now. They are capable of working with Rustoleum magnetic paint. I'm planning on painting chalkboard paint over the magnetic paint, and I've heard that this will weaken the magnetic paint, so I'll post an update later to let you know if they're still strong enough for diy magnetic chalkboards.
She is very interested in numbers and letters right now. She enjoys finding the letters to copy the site words onto the board, and I used to use it in the morning to write little inspiring messages for her.
The kit is well-organized and convenient to keep in a drawer. There are enough letters to spell a number of words, as well as all of the numbers and symbols needed to solve simple math problems. My four-year-old loves playing with them, and she's picking up on the numbers and letters quickly. The whiteboard and markers were also very useful! I would highly recommend it for homeschooling or as a fun activity for kids!.
It's packaged in a case with magnetic foam letters inside. It also includes a dry-erase board that can be used with the included markers and eraser, as well as the magnets. If you have a young child who is learning to recognize numbers and letters, I strongly advise you to try this.
