The Cyberpunk Tabletop RPG is the most recent iteration if you are new to the genre. As far back as Cyberpunk 2013 and Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk V3 takes players into the middle of the 1980s. Now personally, I have not played Cyberpunk for a long time, but after all the hype about Cyberpunk 2077, I wanted to check out CP Red just to have fun and see what's changed. Since I haven't played this one yet in mid, I don't have much to say about it. Firstly, the Lore alone in the book makes it worth the price of the book. Combined with an alternative history for the United States and the world, it's very deep and interesting. In that regard, I anticipated that The Lore would be revised in light of the technology developments and the changes in the real world with CP 2077. There is no escape from the Lore of the 1980s, no matter how good or bad it is. CP 2020 has some text that is copied and pasted from this document. One of the GM tips on Page 387 says that if you want to get into the cyberpunk mood, play some hard rock cassettes. Can you believe I was like cassette tapes? By 2021, who is going to get those? I knew it was a copy and paste job from the beginning. This is exactly what I found in my CP 2020 book on page 187. It's odd that you can copy and paste, of course it doesn't ruin the game, but it has me puzzled. In the aftermath of the 4th Corporate War, CP Red takes place. There is a global recovery process underway, as much of the world's infrastructure and technology has been destroyed, including the Internet. We do not need a global WWW of the kind we have today It is real. Rather, Internet is a localized and patchy service. A CP Red rules update has been added to reflect these changes. They have an impact on how Net Running is conducted. CP 2045 can also be accessed this way. A lot of the technology in Cyberpunk is actually dated, since the film was made in the 1980s. Some of the themes of CP themes like the daily fax you can get from a vending machine that you can receive by CP have become outdated with the advent of smartphones and the internet. After all, the internet basically went down in 2045, and physical media and other types of what we would call Retro Tech are back in the spotlight. The war is also having an impact on governments, with cities across the globe ruined as well as people starving and there is the economic damage as well, including Night City that was It's great that even some of the biggest Megacorps were wiped off the game. This presents GMs and players with a lot of new challenges and opportunities. Despite its thickness and high price, the book contains over 450 pages and costs 60% more than the average eBook. A retail price of $00 is reasonable. I received a $30 offer from Rtalsoiran Games. $800 in shipping, which was not an acceptable rate I waited for a restock on Amazon and grabbed it at an excellent price
The book itself has some minor spelling/grammar errors, colorful artwork, and everything you need to get started, but I prefer the line drawings of CP 2020. Corrections were made to a spelling error as well as a grammar.
Not many substantial changes have been made to the rules. While still being friendly to "Friday Night Firefight", they do well. A setting update has been made. It's all right. If you want to believe it, you have to read it. There was no reason to fight the Fourth Corporate War There was definitely a follow-up to this. Yet, the timeframe is a generation ahead of Cyberpunk 2077, and it really stands out as long as it stands as both an original story and as a logical transition from 2020 to The release of this game has been long anticipated, and I was not disappointed in the least.
In my opinion, this is one of the best updates ever for a venerable, In order to build a better game, the systems were improved and integrated. It is great to have RCBoyz. A lot of my son's friends are raving about it. RCBoyz is the company I purchased the rig from, and I am very pleased with them. In addition to answering all of my questions quickly and efficiently, they did so with professionalism.
There is a lot of story and lore in the art. There is nothing I enjoy more than Come on, let's face the dark future together.
The system is easy to use, and the lore is fascinating. You can build characters in as little time as you like, or as deeply as you like. The book is easy to navigate and very well laid out. I am eagerly awaiting the start of the project.
It is a great system, however, there are so many changes from the quick start, that I do not recommend that you begin with the quick start if you intend to learn the game properly.
There is a lot of detail in this roleplaying book, and it is clearly written. A copy of this one was sent to France without a hitch. This is a great product.
