It is stated in the product description that this journal features lines for writing on the bottom half and a blank area on the top half for drawing. Pages of the journal I received have lines running through them. While we can utilize it, it is not what is deemed essential for schooling. There was a problem with my order so I had to get.
They are wonderful for students of all ages! The Primary Composition Journals consist of the following entries. The difference between these and the regular primary composition notebooks is that they have the blank area above the lines so that your student can draw a picture of what he or she is It's hard to find a better quality product. A book with 100 pages has 200 of them. Because the lines and the picture are on both the front and the back of every It was a bit overwhelming for me when I first started this journey, and I wanted to help in any way I could. According to my experience, the journal was required in kindergarten, the regular composition notebook in 1st grade, and the small composition notebook in It is hard to choose one over the other. No matter what kind you have at home, I think it's always nice to have one. The size, and spatial skills they develop from these are truly invaluable when little children learn to write letters, words, or even to take their already existing skills to the next level. I think it would be nice if you had this journal for your child to practice keeping their first diary. It is a clever way to maintain their interest by allowing them to draw or doodl over the top. The primary notebooks/ journals are hard to find in stores, and you never know what style they might have in stock. I would highly recommend all the options available.
Despite the high price, I bought one of these composition books because I loved the format with dashed lines and plenty of space to draw. I was surprised when I noticed that the lines are much smaller than the kindergarten handwriting worksheets we've been following. There is no doubt that children who need the dashed lines to help form each letter do not yet have the finesse to create these small letters on their own. Among the things I expect from Mead is quality My plans for next year are still in the works.
Could you let me know what you think? There is no doubt that Mead is the most reliable brand of The threaded backing of this journal leaves the competition in the dust because it has a strong threaded binding, the pages are nicely weighted (so they won't easily tear from erasures), and the covers are thick to protect In the course of a school year, the little people test them to a great extent. For as long as Mead doesn't change anything, I'll continue to be a fan.
There is nothing more I could want from a journal for my 6-year-old. They are a great way for him to practice writing his letters in capitals and lowercase. It's a lot of fun journaling for the summer when he draws a picture and then writes a little about it.
This type of notebook that allows him to draw, tell a story, and write about the picture is exactly what I was looking for as I homeschool my son. Upon finding one I was amazed with the price of a composition book. What a waste of money! What am I to think? Mead certainly knows who's in charge? Despite all of that, this is a nice composition book, and I'm satisfied with it. However, if another company comes up with a cheaper alternative, I'll switch.
A request from my son's kindergarten teacher led to this item. The paper is of good quality, there is plenty of room at the top to draw, and on the rest of the page is nicely lined. I will buy from you.
Upon recommendation of the teacher, this was implemented. There is a problem with the pages being too thin and curling. The mess and unmanageability make it difficult for my Kinder kid to use. In addition, he is a nice.
