Pros: br>This is my third five-year journal, and it is (by far) the best. I've been reading it for a month and a half and am kicking myself for not getting it sooner. When I write in it, it opens up nicely. I don't feel like I'm writing in shorthand or text style because there are six lines to write on. The hard cover is ideal for securing a unique pen (as shown in the photo). In addition, it looks nice on my nightstand. br>br>Cons: The only drawback is that it was slightly damaged when it arrived. All of the indentations at the top of the cover were present, as seen in the photo. I didn't take away a star because the reason for this was because of shipping, not because of any flaws in the journal. I don't mind because I'm going to put my special pen up there anyway, and it'll get dinged over the course of my 5 years with me. However, it's possible that this is something they'll want to address in the future when shipping these. Why not keep a regular diary? br>br> br>I keep regular journals in which I can go into greater depth and detail on occasion, but this is my daily diary. I can see what I was doing on this day many years ago, just like I can see what I was doing on Facebook's "memories" feature, which I adore. This one, however, is private and only for me, so nothing needs to be "whitewashed" on Facebook. It's also so simple and quick that it doesn't feel like just another thing to check off a long list of things to do. I'm the only one who cares. As a stay-at-home mom, I want something that is completely unrelated to being a mother. It's not overpowering, though. I feel like my days blend into one another, and before I started keeping a 5-year journal, I couldn't remember what I did with my time; now I have a much better sense of my life and what it's like on a daily basis. And when I go back and read it, it triggers my terrible memory, allowing me to recall what that day was like; it may not seem important to you, but it is to me because this is my real life. br>If you're looking for a 5-year journal, pick your favorite color and have fun with it.

This journal appeals to me greatly. It's sturdy, and there's plenty of room for daily anecdotes to be written on it. However, I prefer my journals to be "tidy. " The year is written in a box on each day. This section is fantastic, except for the fact that the company has written "year" in the box. So, in order to write in the correct year, you must write over this word, which appears to be quite a mess. I'm sure this will irritate the majority of people, so BEWARE before purchasing. I'm hoping that the company will make a change. OKAY TO LEAVE THE BOX, BUT ALLOW PEOPLE TO WRITE WHATEVER THEY WISH IN IT!.

The paper quality could be a little better, so it only gets four stars. I simply employ a standard. Even with a 5 ballpoint pen, the next page has some slight ghosting. So don't bother with more expensive pens. Apart from that, everything else in my life is perfect. It came in blue, and it sits regally on my desk.

It's revolting. This was a lovely journal to look through. The lines are clear, the paper is thick, and the book is well-bound. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to use it. br>It's a real book. br>I'm sorry, but I'm not going to use it. br>I took it out of the plastic wrapper. br>There was an odor to it - fragrance and chemicals br>I took the book outside and opened it, hoping that the sun and breeze would wash away the scent long enough for me to use it. It didn't work out. br> br>Because of my severe chemical sensitivities, I was unable to read this book for fear of becoming ill. br>It was thrown away. br>This is an unusual review, but I wanted to warn others with MCS about the problems I had.

I've been doing these for ten years, and it's always a great time. You only need to write a couple sentences at the end or beginning of each day, and it's so much fun and interesting to look back and see how your life has changed and grown over the years, and what you were doing the same time last year, or two years ago, or five! I always give these out as gifts, especially to new parents, because it's so meaningful to watch the change in your life. You don't notice it when you're living it day to day, but when you look back and look at Some people use them to keep gratitude journals or to keep track of specific achievements in their personal or professional lives. I try to read as little as possible each day in order to get as much information as possible. I can't say enough good things about these, and this particular brand is fantastic because it's a great size, sturdy, and comes with a bookmark.

It's a great way to add to your regular journaling. You won't be able to write much here, but it's fun to track annual trends and look for themes on specific days. I already keep track of things on my iPhone calendar, so I'm going through my first year entries and making notes from as far back as 2010, giving me a partial 12-month record. By 5 years from now, you will have completed your year journal. Each day has a distinct theme to it. On one hand, I'm always doing social things, and on the other hand, I'm always doing yoga, or traveling, or spending time with my family. I was hiking on October 6 for the fourth year in a row, and I'm not even a hiker. I've lived in a variety of environments, including the countryside, the city, and the beach. Another time, I used to travel every year - Long day trips or being on the road for work or personal reasons are all that is required. It's odd how life works like that. Year after year, there are almost always parallels. Try it - You'll see what I mean. Or go through your old calendars to see what you can find. This is fantastic.

My fiancé came up with his own "7-point plan" for us. For his fountain pen, he created a "year journal" - I wanted one that was lined, hardcover, and had been premade for 5 years. "A line a day," however, isn't enough. " This was the one that got the job done! I've been using ink-free ballpoint pens and haven't had any problems with bleeding from one page to the next. The light blue color is lovely and lively - exactly as shown in the photos It arrived on my birthday, which made it all the more special for me to use it on that day. I would strongly suggest it.
