It was my understanding that it would tell me what I was looking at from the buttons. Shame on me lol I didn't read the post. There are only two kinds of sounds that happen when you click or push the buttons as you read There is no way for a baby to keep interest in that. Although you read the description of the book when you buy it, you will find the book itself to be exactly as it has been described.
It is a pleasure to read these books. The poppers eventually "wear out" and stop popping back and forth, but the bigger versions are very durable. I bought both sizes for my children and they love them. great thing about these is their size. Perfect for little hands to handle on their own and are also perfect for traveling in the.
These sturdy books encourage pointing with 1 finger at about 12 months of age, and my son loves pushing the dots and hearing the popping sound they make. I love the sturdiness of the books, and I love the elements of pushing the dots and hearing the popping noise these books generate. In the future, this will be our go-to guide In waiting rooms and restaurants, he can play with a diaper bag toy to keep him quiet/occupied. The multipack will be given as a gift to my friends and family. This is a great product! Note I am only mentioning this as an aside. On one of the books, a dot cannot be popped because it is stuck in one direction. I don't feel that it makes a big difference because my son simply skips over it. Make sure you check the gift before giving it. It is only this slight issue of durability that I am unhappy with. These books do not appear to be chewable, but are extremely durable I prove it.
It used to seem that such products yielded better results, dots lasted longer and noise levels were louder a few months ago. In today's market, the product causes confusion, frustration for children who anticipate the fun of the dots but these dots are no longer functional.
It's wonderful to have Melissa & Doug on our team The books look good, so we picked them up. Doug likes puzzles, so we thought we'd give them a try. I have to say that my 20-month-old absolutely loves these books as well. A lot of them are picked up and looked through from time to time. In comparison with other touch and feel books, the plastic push button book really keeps his attention for a longer time. Those books are great. They have images on each page that are the same as what we are teaching him to say, banana, duck, hat, house, etc. I can't praise them enough. Our hearts are so full to have discovered.
My son is able to use them perfectly! I simply tell him to say the word and That's what he wants to do. First word books and cards of more variety would be a big hit with me.
Besides helping her focus on one object or one word at a time, they are quite tiny, making them great for car trips as well. It's not uncommon for our daughters to simply read books all day.
Are you trying to have your child be the smartest in the classroom? Your kid will be thrilled with the poke a dot books, and so will you and the rest of the family! The top rating is 5.
