Product Description

It is square, sits nicely, doesn't rock or move, and does not rock back and forth.
Good airflow is ensured by five mesh panels. The clear vinyl window panel gives students and families a chance to watch caterpillars transform into chrysalides and then emerge as Monarch, Painted Lady or Black Swallowtail butterflies.
This product is designed to be foldable for storage and ease of reuse. It measures 15 inches unfolded. This is 7 times 15 in a row. You would have to multiply 7 by It measures 6 inches in diameter. Two large milkweed plants can be housed in this tall and wide box. In order for a new butterfly to be stirred up, its wings are not at risk of breaking.
A large zipper side opening allows you to feed your butterflies easily, then release them back Little hands and faces are often touched by butterflies before they fly off.
An overview of raising butterflies is included in the quick start guide.

Questions & Answers

In order for caterpillars to survive, does direct sunlight or artificial light need to be provided? In the past two days, I have numerous chrysalises hanging from the top but no chrysalis has yet developed?

It is sometimes just overnight or for a few days that they remain in the "J" position. As soon as I saw tiny caterpillars, I used to bring all my milkweed indoors. My two Restcloud butterfly habitats kept track of the cocoons quite well, but I've been having such a much greater appreciation for keeping track of the cocoons since I bought them. The blooming of 30 butterflies took place over four days last week! As soon as I get the habitats, I will keep them outside. They will get morning sun for about 4 hours and I will keep the plastic wall away from the sun. Living at the beach in Florida is my favorite part of the year.

Do you have a source for the caterpillars?

You can attract butterflies with milkweed, a plant that lays

In the outside weather, will this hold up? (This will be used for a vegetable garden on the patio instead of a butterfly garden). ?

On my patio, I have a 36" cage that has been there for several weeks. Outside there is a pot with caterpillars on it that has a diameter of 12". It was blown over one day by the wind It should be surrounded by a brick. As a result, I had to tilt it.

Can I get the life caterpillars along with this or will I need to purchase them Do I need to purchase caterpillars? If so, what type should I buy?

I'm sorry, but this is only a habitat, it doesn't come with This is *br1. You will have caterpillars if you plant milkweed. Go out into the wild to find the caterpillar. 3 *br > It may be possible to purchase caterpillars on the Internet, but I strongly discourage it. There are a lot of caterpillars produced in unhealthy conditions and that themselves are A great way to promote monarch colonies in your area is to plant milkweed that is native to your area.

In order to protect moths, I use this to collect and collect them
5/5

The size of the container is ideal for capturing moths and hatching butterflies as well. My approach to using these is as follows When the butterfly habitat is left unlit at night, a light is placed inside to provide illumination. It is the light that attracts moths to the enclosure and they attach themselves safely to the exterior. I place the moths I wish to examine or photograph inside the tent I want to use. It'll be so easy to photograph them the following day, and I can release them the next night unharmed. It has a lot of interior space and can be used in many ways As well as using the large one to protect my seedlings from direct summer sunshine, the fabric also repels heat while protecting the seedling from birds etc.
Very handy and well made, I definitely recommend these butterfly habitats for anything you wish to observe while keeping it safe. I give this book FIVE.

I was only given a 1 It is recommended to pack a large pack
3/5

I was satisfied with the quality of the product I received. Previously, I owned a smaller version from the same brand and it worked well. Due to the fact that I simply did not receive what I ordered, I will only give one star. Despite my wish to give credit to the quality of the individual products, I didn't do so here. Even though I have received two pieces of a 3-piece set, I only received one piece This product is a two-piece package (missing the small There is nothing wrong with that at all. There was a reasonable amount of time spent trying to find the contact info for customer service. In order to use the tent right away, I just kept it instead of returning it.

Raising butterflies is easy with this
5/5

It has an enclosed zippered space that brought me to this purchase. We used mesh bags for laundry, but caterpillars could get out of them. It is a good idea to raise the caterpillars in a yard with songbirds and release them after they are safe. Releasing butterflies shortly after their wings have dried is the best option. I took this photo of my mom adjusting the pieces of fennel with pupae of Black Swallowtails on them. Our release of 6 Black Swallowtail butterflies and 2 monarch butterflies has taken place since then. The caterpillers have been coming in large numbers and more will arrive soon (eggs on milkweed we plant). I just ordered another set of This zipper is so cool. A protected area would be sturdy enough to use them. As these would be blown over by the wind if left outside in the weather, we do not recommend putting them outside. A gazebo is where we keep them. This is a highly recommended product.

A butterfly nursery fit for a queen
5/5

The pop-ups come in both large and small sizes (just like the pop-ups) Is a feature that you can turn on and off There's only one problem we don't know how Incorporate instructions into the document would be helpful. I think this is a great activity for any age group and would make an excellent science-centered gift A fun activity for kids that is based on the theme of the book. Ventilation and an area for pupa connections are provided by the screen material. A couple of additions we'd like to see are Poles or sticks that caterpillars can climb for the purpose of making cocoons (i. e. The use of fake branches and leaves). There should be an easier way to open the bag (The zipper works fine, but the little guys love climbing on it, so it's hard to load the bag up or clean out the poop and leaves. In lieu of this, we used some construction kit pieces for kids) A clearer wall (plastic on one side works pretty well, but the downside is that pictures will be out of focus or distorted. I wish I had known about this product sooner!.

The bonsai guard is for protecting my bonsai from bugs when I put it outdoors, while I got the mantis guard for housing them
5/5

As it stands, the mesh keeps out tiny flightless fruitflies (mantis food) and the viewing window is nice. However, I would like a removable base piece to make clean-up a bit easier, but I love that I can fold it up and store it.

There is no better place than butterfly There was a large enclosure and a smaller one but I only use the smaller one since the large one does not fit It is much bigger than I thought because I didn't pay greater attention to the measurements! Despite its small size, even the smaller one is spacious, and I have about thirty cats munching away happily There is one thing I'm extremely nervous about, and that's the zipper
5/5

It is this part that breaks or snags, and the entire unit will become The whole unit gets shaken when it zips and unzips a lot, so any cats entering chrysalis are likely to be shaken also. Also, because it has a soft bottom and no structural frame, you cannot pick it up and move it if it has plants or caterpillars inside. So any cleaning has to be done in place, or everything has to be removed first. Having two units makes sense in this case. Last but not least, the mesh makes it easy to relocate any chrysalis if needed. By grasping the cremaster with a clothespin through the roof, I am able to do the task. There is sufficient flexibility in the mesh fabric to accommodate many clothespins "pinching" the cloth to help hang them in a safe location.

The purchase was great - the company was great and the product was great! A review/story about how honest and genuine RestCloud is has been updated
5/5

The following are previous reviews, but not the first ones
"It was a wonderful company to be in!". The customer service was awesome! Thanks for the great product!"

Now updated with the My butterfly habitats were delivered very quickly to me. Upon opening the first one, it popped open and I knew I had a great product! However, when I opened the second one, it had an issue with one side at the bottom and it wouldn't stay A company representative contacted me and replied in a timely manner. As a result, I was encouraged to close it up in the coil position it was sent in and then try to open it again. I'm in love with My husband had a hard time getting the habitat to stand up, so I took it to him to see if he could fix it. After several weeks, the habitat wouldn't stand up. My first step was to open it up so he could see the issue. I was thrilled to see it pop up, made my day! After I contacted them, they thanked me for contacting them and were happy to know it worked well. They gave me a free copy As much as I feel bad about receiving the new one, I am glad they sent it. It is highly recommended that you use this company. We've bought from them before and will do so My butterfly farm usually leaves me with no parsley or dill at the end of the growing season. In addition, I decided to use one for dill, one for parsley, and one for swallowtail butterflies. I threw away the old butterfly habitats and will use the new one to grow the swallowtails. It is my sister-in-law who told me about these habitats. She has a monarch butterfly house in her backyard. I appreciate your support, Residence Cloud!.
