I like it very much because it's big enough to fit a milkweed plant while the caterpillars are growing and a potted plant when the butterflies hatch with enough room above the plant for the butterflies to flutter around without getting injured. It's very easy to release them when they're strong enough to handle it and the weather can handle it. I simply remove the plant from the cage, open it, and let them out. Despite their chrysalis hanging from the top of the caterpillars, my caterpillars climb to the top no problem.

The significance of this is enormous! I compared it with my chameleon enclosure, which is the same size. Chameleons love it so much that I use it every day. A box is placed in the bottom for support, then a plant and vines are added. Chameleons can be moved to the area while their enclosures are being cleaned. In addition, I use it as a temporary cage when I take my cats outside. I carry it around with two handles on the top, and it is very sturdy. My chameleons are safe outside, so I don't have to worry about taking them outside and moving them around. I mist the material inside of the panther cages often so the water beads on the material seriously well. They get natural light very well. There is no question that both of my chameleons will go right in and enjoy themselves. We are all less stressed because of this. It is definitely worth a try!.

Since it is so light, I put a plant pot in the bottom, attach a zip tie through the top zip to stabilize it, and attach it to a fence (with the plastic side to the fence so the cats don't fry) so it could be left outside I found it easy to clean up and it worked You need to shake out the dirt (easy, since the paper was on the bottom) then hose it off and let it dry, then fold it up and store it! There is no doubt that the wires are sturdy. It's important to roll it up tightly so it doesn't pop back open and smack you in the face. Just thinking out loud.

The product was defective, and I had to have it repaired. I was so excited to get it. I am not sure how long it will last. It took considerably of time and effort to reattach one of the metal rods seen around the frame it had seenped through the nylon, so I had to use my needle and thread to push it back through and then sew it in place In addition, I keep the clear viewing window at the bottom of the book since it's easy to wipe off in case of spills. In relation to the quality, this would have been priced at seven dollars at.

There is an excellent viewing window to watch them and it is easy to access. It is made of sturdy material. The pot is large enough to fit a 12 in pot in it. The chrysalis even has a strap so that you can stake it down outside. I have released all 7 Swallowtails so far and there are two to go.

Having a size that is appropriate for butterflies is nice. The giant moths were the reason I bought it. It could have a plastic bottom so that it could be leaned up against a wall. The net would be kept from leaking water if that was possible. In addition, the pictures made me think it would be a full door. It isn't the case there is only half of a door in the zipper. There is little room to move plants in and out of the house.

In this habitat, there will be no birds, lizards, or wasps to worry about. A plant of this size would be a nice addition to have here and it would protect your caterpillars and butterflies until they can fly. This mesh fence has viewing vinyl on one side and mesh on the other. It allows the contents to breathe and to be watered efficiently In addition to protecting small fruit and vegetable plants, this would be useful for protecting an indoor greenhouse.
