When I ordered, there were only one review, and I went ahead with This is a nice set and it isn't hard to assemble. It will be easiest if you ask someone to hold the lid so you can attach the brackets, but other than that it's not too hard. As a result of getting two of these, I now have additional storage and seating for my island.
This toy chest is pretty disappointing. The smell doesn't go away and it's pretty hard to put it It has a number of little screws inside the top that are preventing it from staying sturdy, but they all keep popping out and coming out of No matter how many times I tighten them, they don't work. Due to the loose screws, I was unable to fix the hinges that prevent the windows from opening and shutting abruptly. Now the screws can't be added because the holes no longer fit the screws. The toy chest I received was not sturdy or safe for my child. It looks very cute but is not durable or safe.
It is best to make sure that the holes are not stripped. There are no issues with the dark brown and I bought one as well as a white. In the white one, the hole size was too large, so I had to return and reorder it. Having a great amount of storage is great! I also love that it gives my kids a lot of room to play! In the next article I will include pictures of my reordered chest once I receive it.

It's a total disappointment how the latches worked. It took 24 hours for all of the screws on the latches to fall out.

Easy to assemble but difficult to assemble.
You have to put together pieces that came in pieces. My way of doing things is fine, I'm used to it. There were however many scratches and discolorations on the pieces. When we got to the very last step to attach the slow close lid metal pieces on the inside, I found that it fit well, but as soon as I closed the lid it sprung open again! It's like did I do something wrong? I wonder if I put them on backwards. According to the directions, I did everything right on the first try. Then, just to make sure it was an issue with the way they were turned, I turned them the other way and presto! they popped Afterwards, I tried arranging the metal pieces in every way I could think of, but the same thing still You will not be able to close this lid! It's a piece of junk worth a lot of money! It has been a very disappointing experience.
