If you want to build a BT-powered rocket, this is the place to go. This nose cone is ideal for tubes up to 80mm in diameter. The nose cone is roughly the same width as a soda can and about two inches taller. The plastic is extremely durable, and the hole in the bottom of the nose cone's hollowed-out bottom allows you to add extra weight to the cone's tip if necessary. I weighed my cone at 1. 25 pounds for anyone curious about its weight. 5oz. br>Having said that, the outside of the nose cone was marred by deep scratches and had rough and protruding seams, which was particularly noticeable in my case. It wasn't until I sanded it with 400 grit sandpaper that I got the nice smooth finish that I had hoped for; in this case, it wasn't a deal breaker because I had planned on sanding it anyway so that it would be ready for painting. br>If you don't mind doing a little sanding, this is the nose cone to go with.
This nose cone is medium in size and light in weight, and it will fit an Estes BT-100. Tube with a diameter of 80 cm. If you don't plan on landing your rocket on concrete without a recovery system, it should be fine; it also takes spray paint well if you want to customize it. The shock cord is attached with a handy plastic loop. br>br>A nose cone without the rest of the rocket isn't much fun, so the fun rating makes no sense to me.
80 Tube. Your rocket will take on the appearance of a bullet.
An F15 motor powered their rocket to an altitude of 800 feet. Having a great time!.

I use it on every build because it's a fantastic nose cone.
The replacement nose cone arrived in excellent condition and was delivered quickly. It was a perfect fit and will perform admirably when put to use. It is the NC-specific weight. 80B, and it was well-made.
