If there are only a few small waves in the water, don't bother. It is unable to cut through the waves and turn because it lacks sufficient power. This RC car blew me away with how simple it is to set up and how well it actually works. It's made of plastic and rubber, it's waterproof, it's easy to charge and use, and it's simple to operate! After a few tries, I've managed to teach my 3-year-old nephew how to use it, and we're having a lot of fun with it; it handles high pile carpet, low grass, bumps, drops, and knocks. The remote control is unusual but easy to learn, and once you get used to it, it's a lot of fun. At least for now, the quality is far superior to that anticipated. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I'm having a good time with it so far. My children enjoy their toy, for example.
